“Good value for money”
What you would expect from a Novotel, great value but the restaurant is not great - we would not normally have even eaten in it but arrived on a major public holiday and there was not much open. the restaurant is very bright, a bit expensive for what it is, small portion and average food - breafast was good though. pool-side is great and also has a pool attendant - which is rare in hotel pools
“cant wait to go back”
my daughter and i had a great time in milan. the staff at the hotel were friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. we were able to catch a bus from outside the hotel to the central station - it only took 10mins and from there we took the metro to the sights. i would recommend getting a taxi from central station to the hotel on arrival, it only cost 8euros

“Reasonably priced Milan Hotel”
The Novotel Nord Ca Granda is not the best situated hotel, but it is only a short, cheap tram ride to the Metro station, and once the M5 line is complete access will be better. The hotel itself is in a square alongside a sister, ibis hotel. It was clean, the room was spacious and well-fitted. There were 26 tv channels, including (in english) CNN, CNBC, Eurosport and National Geographic Channel. BBC World was mentioned, but not available during my stay. Aircon worked very well (it was over 30C yet the room stayed pleasant), and all other fixtures/fittings worked. A negative point, for a mid-range hotel was no free WiFi access. It was available, but at a rather hefty 15Euros/day!! Nearby were a range of good eateries, and Milan's public transport is so good and cheap that even though the hotel is a distance from the main tourist areas it can be used as a base. Overall good.
“Value for money”
simple accomodation with only drawback is no internet access in the room. wireless signal was weak in the room and connection charge is high by vodafone
“Nice relax time”
Warm and quite for a good relax time after a work journay. Also with a very convinent location.
“disappointment from Novotel”
not 4* hotel. only 3* .old and worn . simple and basic furniture . small room. i will visit this hotel again.
