“South Toledo Super 8......Super!”

Very pleased with my stay at this motel. Heading back to this area soon and will n0ot hesitate to book here again.

“Good stay”

Had easy access to my activity on the east side of Toledo. The room was damp with a musty smell. The smell was gone after running the AC and the bathroom fan for a couple days. There was plenty of room for me and my stuff. I needed additional wall outlets for my charging equipment for my racing batteries and cell phone. Found a power strip and used that after moving one of the big chairs. Did not complain to the staff so they don't know of this. Breakfast was very adequate.

“Good place to stay”

It is ok to stay if you are not looking a luxurious hotel. One bathroom was not cleaned out of our two rooms. These rooms were not good as compared to my previous stay in super8 in conneticut.

“Close place to stay for Nascar race”

The hotel was a good choice for the Nascar Race in Michigan, not a long drive. The hotel staff was very helpful at finding resturants as there wasn't many around this hotel. The room had a sort of mothball smell to it but it was clean and we'd stay again.

“Don't check in Late!”

We made reservations at this Super 8 due to it's location for traveling from Pittsburgh to Chicago. We knew we would be driving at night and checking in late. Upon arriving at 3:15 am and very much desiring to just go to my room with my wife and 3 kids, I went to check in. I was told I would have to wait for 5-10 minutes because the clerk was in the middle of an "audit". She had my reservation and a room was available but I would have to wait. I said that was unbelievable and simply asked if I could have my room keys but she refused and said I would have to wait until she was done. After 15 minutes, she then went to check me in but said my expedia reservation had declined my credit card. When pressed as to how, I could have a reservation but be declined she then claimed she would have to call someone to check me in. She proceeded to do that (called 3 people before she got a hold of someone) and from what I could tell it was simply a matter of fixing something from her "audit" because I hadn't been checked in before she did it. Thus, it took almost 30 minutes to check into the hotel when I was the only customer there!

“This place is bad!!!!!!!!”

Thereage were garbage bags outside my door all weekend. one set of stairs was shut down with holes rusted through. It is the biggest dump I have EVER been in!

“Ewwwww......”

Room was dirty! In fact, so dirty that I borrowed the maids vacuum and physically vacuume the room myself. There was a smell that resembled a nursing home and even with Febreze it would not go away. There were brown stains running down the bathroom wall (coffee- I think/hope). And, I requested a crib- it was not ready when we checked in. They cleaned it off and delivered it to the room… it had metal wires sticking out the top that were a hazard and it had electrical tape around some of the spindles. To top it off- I lifted the mattress and found the dirty/grimy/chemically soaked rag they used to clean the crib! EWWWW……….
