“will definitely stay here again.....”
hotel was good value..large comfortable room....

Very nice and clean and we received the room we ordered.
“Good value for money”
You get what you pay for. I certainly wouldn't suggest that this was the nicest hotel I have stayed at, it was a decent room for an excellent price. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. I would stay again.

This place was clean and very easy acess to the interstate. Close to eats and shopping. Great place to stay if you are taking a cruise out of mobile.

We travel to Mobile Alabama once a year, we will stay here in the future.
“Needs to be renovated.”
The hotel is in need of major renovations. There was a patched hole on the ceiling. The furniture was old and worn, and the room had no iron and ironing board.
“Was not as we expected.”
We were sad to see our hotel. First of all, not to anyone's fault, this hotel & all the surrounding hotels had been inundated with oil rig workers & workers of the oil spill. This hotel & all the area hotels had been booked for awhile. We had made reservations far enough in advance, so we had a room. We were grateful we had a room. Our room was not as clean as it could have been. The light in the bathroom did not work properly, the sheets seemd to nat be clean as expected-hair was on the sheets & it didn't come from us, There appeared to be mold on the ceiling above the shower & the room was in definite need of remodeling. Didn't look like the flor had been vaccuumed recently either-found paper clips & other small items on the floor when we got there.
“Not Impressed”
The room was not clean, services were minimal. It's cheap, but I would not come back.
“Bad management?”
The sheets and pillows were old. Not that they weren't clean, they were just obviously old, to the point that the pillows were flat. Also, the "continental breakfast" consists of old plain bagels, dry bread, and some rather bland cereals. Skip it, go to McDonald's and spent $2 on something with flavor. The elevator was broken down when we arrived and remained broken when we left, but sometimes mechanical failures happen and I can overlook that, if only the rest of the stay were satisfactory. The service was good, though, and I have no complaints about the people who worked there. It's clearly the management being overly frugal that gives this hotel the poor ratings it receives.
“Could be better”
Based upon cost I would have been happy since we were only staying one night and only needed a place to sleep. We found roaches in the room, HUGE turnoff. Informed the service desk about the problem and hopefully they called in N EXTERMINATOR. This is the only reason I was not happy. If they took care of the situation I would have rated them higher.
