“Honeymoon”
We had a great time at this hotel. We chose it for our honeymoon and received an upgrade to a superior room. It was in a quiet building over looking the gardens which was perfect. The staff here are extremely helpful and go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. The pool area is lovely as is the private beach. Dinner in the restaurant is not cheap but the food is superb so you do get what you pay for. I would definitely return to this hotel.
“Simply the best hotel in the world ...”
What more can I say ...
“Beautiful location and luxurious hotel”
The staff we very attentive and acted immediately upon any requests. Our room was a mountain room and although quite small, it was beautifully and luxuriously appointed. There is a train lane nearby so sometimes a train could be heard, but otherwise the hotel is stunning, and the pool is a great size. The hotel backs straight onto the walk along Cap Ferrat and this was a dream come true to walk every day along this stretch of coast. Only took 15 mins to drive into Monaco.
“A Gem Would go back tomorrow”
a real 5 * hotel! wonderful location, right on the beach beautiful pool and the most wonderful, romantic huge terrace for dinner. Absolutely loved it! Expensive but it is the South of France. Wonderful restaurants to walk to both ways -liked The Sloop and The African Queen.
“Royal Riviera - understated luxury on request”
This hotel is wonderful, understated 5 star luxury. The service and staff are professional and friendly yet unobtrusive. Our room was more than good with views across the gardens, pool and the bay beyond. Food was also splendid with a fine selection of almost anything you could imagine for breakfast, it's probably easier to list the thngs that aren't available that the things that are. Dinner was equally good with a limited but excellent combination of dishes and daily market specials, please do ask the Sommellier to recommend wines for each course, you won't be disappointed! Leisure-wise the small sauna and hammam were beutifully presented with an abundance of towels, robes and toiletries. We had the suite to ourselves on Saturday afternoon and it was the perfect antidote to the windy and wet early March weather outside. This place does feel like home from home in terms of comfort and amenity and avoids some of the brash taste to be found elsewhere on the Cote d'Azur.
“Can't wait to go back!!!!!”
Absolutely this is the most fabulous hotel. The staff, the location, the atmosphere, the decor, the setting, the french cuisine and the ambiance is outstanding. The rooms are attractive and comfortable. W#e even loved the patisseries in the room each day and they were a very welcoming touch.
“Exceptional Stay!”
First-class hotel in stunningly beautiful setting, with superb food and warm service from everyone. Highly recommended!
“Romantic if in a water side room”
We upgraded from a SMALL room facing the street (with construction) to a HUGE room facing the water for 50 euros/night. Staff very accomodating. Great location on the Riviera as close to all yet quiet and beautiful.
“One of the top three hotels of my life, and I travel a lot.”
Can not find anything negative about this place unless you do not want to pay European rates for the highest quality of food. If so, then there are less expensive restaurants in town five minutes walk away. Some feel the mountain view room, which cost considerably less than the sea view, are small. Actually, they are large by French standards and have all the space you need. Sea view from the room is not necessary as you can have it from the outside restaurants and the grounds. Use the room just to sleep and enjoy the beautiful outdoors.
“A Beautiful Get-A-Way”
If you want glitz and excess, go to Monaco. If you want the day and night action of an international european city, go to Nice. But if you want a quiet Riviera hotel in a beautiful location and with excellent service, this is the hotel for you. My wife and I originally only planned on staying here 3 days, but after the second day we extended it to a full week because we were so happy with it. The walk around the peninsula, which takes a few hours, is breath taking. The ocean is perfect. Transportaion by train is close by and easy. Best of all, however, was the hotel service. Everyone was very helpful. We would no hesitate to go back.
