“Amazing”
Great Service, room was impeccably clean. Highly recommend Novotel Monte Carlo.
“Monaco jewel”
the hotel is located in a very central location, the staff is wonderful and we even enjoyed the restaurant food and drinks. For the price and the location, I'm not sure how you can top this hotel. Novotel usually is a very reliable place to stay. The only unfortunate is the absence of a complimentary breakfast, but you can't ask for everything.
“Very nice”
Lovely hotel very close to Casino square and the train station if you exit the station on the top floor with a bit of exploring we found some short cuts (lifts & excalators) down to the harbour which helped with the legs as Monaco is very hilly and the hotel is quite high up. Roof terrace was very nice and quiet and made a change from the pool area on the ground floor which got quite busy.
“very good value for Monte Carlo”
Can't fault this hotel. Excellent food, service, room. Monte Carlo is not cheap, but this was very good value condsidering. We stayed in a number of other hotels on a trip from here to Toulouse, and this was by far the best. Also very convenient location. I can also recommend the Blue Gin in the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel for cocktails overlooking the sea!
“Will definitely return”
Novotel Monaco is situated in a perfect location. Last time we were in the area the hotel was being built and we have been looking forward to the opportunity to return and stay, and it more than lived up to expectations.
“Brilliant hotel, great views!”
Hotel was perfect, located right by train station which is a 2 minute walk, looks down onto the harbour. staff were fantastic. the hotel is high up and you have to be able to walk up and down hills! great exercise though! near to all amenities. would stay here again! for a 'budget' hotel in Monte Carlo this served its purpose and more!
“Would definitely stay here again!”
A very comfortable and convenient hotel. It is near the train station and the No.2 bus that goes to Ville. My wife and I found the hotel clean, stylish and affordable (by Monte Carlo standards)
“Good choice”
I was only there for 24 hours but it was a great hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, nice pool and sunbathing areas, very comfy room and excellent central location. I would definately recommend this hotel to friends and family.
“5* hotel masquerading as a 3* (well, you have to in Monaco!)”
The hotel is very modern and chic with just enough touch of class to make itself standout against the other hotels in Monaco. The rates are very reasonable and the receptionist was very helpful in pointing us out where to go, how to get to the places of interests, where the restaurants are, etc. The famous Grand Casino is only a short 10 mins walk away down a gentle slope. There are also regular buses going past the hotel every 10 minutes or so, with the nearest bus stop only a few minutes walk away. The hotel is located a little way from the beach, you get a nice view to the harbour (from an outdoor terrace on 7th floor). Wifi is available throughout the hotel but cost 10 Euros/24 hrs, whilst underground parking is 20 Euros/day. The local guide map contains the route of the F1 Grand Prix circuit, so you can drive yourself on the same roads as your F1 heroes did. One of the places you must visit is the Palace and the view from the palace back to the harbour is one you must not miss. Bus no 2 from outside the hotel will take you there directly and there are souvenir shops and restaurants hidden amongst the narrow streets near the Palace. If you're on a budget, I would recommend having both (hot, cooked & cold) breakfast and dinner in the hotel because it's cheaper but the food is of high quality and prices are very reasonable compared to elsewhere in Monaco. We would definitely stay there again for the reasons of price, quality of service, room, food and the location.
“Excellent value hotel”
This is an excellent hotel if you want to stay in Monaco on a limited budget. Modern design in a sort of Nordic style which might not be to everyone's taste. My room was modest in size, but the bed was comfortable (I have seen other reviewers who complained about an uncomfortable bed - well I got a very good nights sleep, partly because the curtains managed to exclude all outside light). The shower room was also a bit on the small side, but everything worked and it was very clean. The staff were excellent, very helpful, efficient and friendly. I have had better breakfasts in hotels, and here they persist in cooking the hot food some time earlier and then keeping it hot for some time. I'm sure I would prefer to pay a couple of Euros more in order to have it cooked freshly, but other than that, there was a good selection of everything including Innocent smoothies! I didn't eat in the hotel for dinner, so can't comment on that, at lunch time, I noticed that it was quite popular, so maybe the food is OK It is easy to walk everywhere in Monaco and if the weather is fine, much nicer, however it is a fairly stiff walk back up from the harbour to the hotel if you are a bit pushed for time. Overall, I would definately choose this hotel again in Monaco
