“Very nice stay”
we reserved for a deluxe room ( kind of suite) it has a small private terrace just next to the pool's terrace. Lovely romantic room, spacious, in very good condition. The pool's is clean and the weather was great for a swim.
“Good Mid-Quality Option”
We stayed here as a stopover on our way home from a motor trip. It served our purpose well. Our room overlooked the pool and river but also an RV park. We didn't have time to use the pool though it looked to be very nice. The room was comfortable though not elaborate. The hotel itself has a bit of a dingy look - it needs some refurbishing and brightening.
“Montebello Auberge”
This is an older property. The only speed bump was at check-in. The clerk did not speak English. The rooms were spacious and clean and everything worked. They should upgrade the wattage on the light bulbs since it was impossible to read anywhere else other than the bathroom. The hotel was quiet. The staff at breakfast was outgoing and professional. Overall a positive experience and I would stay here again.
“Maybe it was off season”
It seemed we were a bit of trouble for everyone at the hotel, fruit was old (yesterdays left overs?), bread a little dried out, rooms lgithly cleaned not sparkling etc, got the feeling we were there "after hours" kinda.
“area nice hotel not”
Hotel website seemed to imply breakfast with service, but it was just like a roadside motel with only one dry cereal, do it yourself toast and bagels and make your own waffles. The room was ok but had a window heater which roared everytime it turned on, making sustained sleep impossible,
