“Perfect hotel for a relaxing holiday”
Coyaba is very conveniently located, about 10 minutes from the airport. The morning breakfast includes many traditional Jamaican dishes. All three restaurants serve a variety of food for every taste. Our favorite was the Polo bar for dinner and the beach bar for lunch. We also loved the after noon tea every day - it's free. Service is truly exceptional.
“My stay at Coyaba was one of the best experiences I've ever had staying in Jamaica.”
Coyaba proved to be the best lodgings I've so far experience in Jamaica. The property is clean and well kept, offering a chance to interact with both flora and fauna. My family and I was delighted by the birds and marine life we encounted during our stay. We can't wait to return for a longer stay.
“I shall return!”
It was a very relaxing experience. The hotel staff were very nice and accommodating. We didn't have any problems at all during check-in. We arranged for a taxi pick-up through the hotel and even though our flight was delayed by 2 hours the taxi driver was still there waiting for us at the airport. Coyaba Beach Resort is a private resort. My husband and I loved the privacy and the quietness of the area. The beach is nice. We also went to Negril but the crowd there is different. Younger crowd. Partying. The privacy of the Coyaba Beach Resort is the vacation and relaxation we need. Our room was located right next to the beach and the pool. It was perfect! As soon as you open the balcony door, you're at the beach. The whole experience exceeded my expectation.
“Great Hotel, CLEAN, GREAT SERVICE!”
Good things about the hotel: -Great service, the staff goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable and satisfied. -Good air conditioners and comfortable beds and pillows! A great plus for me. No problem sleeping! -The food was good at the hotel, but it starts getting expensive if you don't have an all inclusive plan. Cons: (but not really a con, more of a preference) -If you are used to seeing a lot of people, or enjoy having a lot of activities at the hotel (example, volleyball, water aerobics etc), you will not like it. It is very quiet and relaxing hotel. Unless you leave the hotel, not much to do at night expect have drinks at the bar. But overall its a great place!!!! Would definitely go back and recommend.
“Great destination for relaxation.”
This resort is perfect for those who want a peaceful getaway and low key vacation with GREAT food and a huge selection of alcohlic drinks. The customer service is wonderful with friendly staff in the restaurants, bars, and housekeeping. However, the staff at the front desk seemed impatient and unfriendly when approached. The grounds and the beach are beautiful, but the beach is sludgey...not good for wading. There are also no waves due to the reef not far from the beach. The resort was never crowded, and at times we had the beach all to ourselves. There are planty of chairs on the beach and by the pool. The dock is nice, and a wonderful spot to catch the sunset. Overall, we were really pleased with this resort and amazed by the food at Vineyards. The quality of food and drinks were well beyond expectation for the all-inclusive plan. We would love to come back in the winter.
“Wonderful location”
We stayed at the Coyaba Beach Resort in March 2008 for 10 days. What a fantastic place - it only has 50 rooms so feels like a boutique style hotel. The service is great - all the staff from the driver who collected us at the airport, reception and barmen and restaurant were always friendly and willing to help with what we required. The food is delicious and menu options varied so there is no real need to leave the resort. Cocktails are of course very important and they don't let you down!!! We left Coyaba very relaxed, tanned and wishing we could stay for a bit longer. We'll definitely be back next year!
“Exclusive celebrity feel”
Quiet and beautiful. On the beach with plenty of water activities to indulge in. Not a lot of traffic. Ideal for honeymoon ...w/ busy night life strip 15 minutes away when ready,
“Nice small hotel located in Montego Bay. Lots of charm, personalized attention.”
We were very pleased with the Coyoba resort. We were looking for a small hotel with personalized service and charm. The staff was very pleasant. The food was generally very good. There was not a lot of entertainment options within the resort or immediate area, but we hired a driver to take us around the island. Also, we spent one day at the sister resort in Negril which gave us the option of spending time on the beautiful beaches while still using our all inclusive hotel status.
“Coyaba - Montega Bay”
Our son and his fiance chose Coyaba for their wedding. Two people from his place of employment were married there and recommended it to him. He and his bride were extrememly happy with their choice. They say they were treated like a king and queen during the three or four days they stayed there. His mother and I were very happy with their choice, also. I think it was the nicest hotel and enviornment I have ever visited.
“A Surprise find!”
At first, we were a little skeptical upon driving onto the premises, since it's off the road (but then, Sandals down the street is too). Quickly, and as we were spending more time there, we fell in love: amazing staff, fantastic service, quiet place. We were given a beach view room where we could see both sunrises and sunsets! Great for families, great for couples. The Vineyard restaurant was great for dinners, as they would create a new menu daily.
