Carmel inn and suites was very nice, and allowed early check in time. Beautiful room, comfortable bed, and best location for the money.
“Great price and location”
We ended up with a 2 room suite. Very roomy and a real nice marble bathroom. It would have been nicer with a bigger and more modern TV. Breakfast was OK, cereal, sweet rolls etc. The location was excellent. We will stay here again and again.

We had a suite and it was excellent as we could entertain friends for cocktails. The motel was very well situated for walking around Carmel.

We really enjoyed this place!Great location, nice staff. Nice views from the hotel shared second floor balcony. Good Continental breakfast! Very nice plants and fountains all around the property! BUT, this was all wonderful until we climbed er sat on the bed. We had the corner unit, top floor, overlooking the pool. The wicker bed-frame squeaked any and every time you moved, or even thought about moving.:). I did not tell the staff because I figured that they knew already. Yes, it sqeaks when one is making the bed, or thinking about making it.:) And, we certainly could not be the only guest's who noticed this?!!!
“Pretty in Pink”
Well, What to say... First the location of this hotel is great. The rooms are clean and the staff were very helpful. The only real negative is we ended up in the (Pink and I mean Very Pink) room. The hotel itself shows a bit of age (peeling wall paper and old furniture). But all in all for the price, I would stay there again (but request a Non-Pink room). It had free wireless, a DVD player and a basic continental breakfast. We had an oppertunity to see a couple of the other rooms and they seemed nice. Other than needing some TLC, this hotel was a good value. Thi sis by no means a 5 star facility, but everything is well within walking distance. The beach is a short 15 minute walk, down town Carmel By The Sea is just steps away.
“Good Place to Stay”
Had a working wireless internet connection, which was very important for me. Friendly management that cooperated nicely with a couple of special requests. Sufficient continental breakfast, with cereal, toast, pastries, etc. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom.
