“We will be back!”

Everything was super clean and fresh. Check in and out a breeze. Breakfast was fabulous; all kinds of food we were all happy, and were able to grab a midmorning snack too! Pool was nice and warm and we had it to ourselves. Small hotel, so very quiet and parking was easy. We will be back!

“TERRIFIC STAFF!”

Staff was extremey helpful when we asked for directions to certain sites in Santa Cruz. (The only thing I missed was a freezer unit in the refrigerator--needed to refreeze the ice cold freezer bags for the cold food containter we use on our trips away from home......also, many times we buy ice cream bars and need a freezer unit for the "extras".....however, these are minor considerations.) Again, many thanks fo your courteous and helpful staff.

Our room was clean with nice furnishings and amenities. It was surprisingly quiet for being right off the lobby. Breakfast was good.

“My new favorite”

I travel often to Santa Cruz to visit my son at UCSC. In the past I've stayed at the University Inn, but this time I decided to try the Hampton since Expedia had a special rate. Very nice, smallish hotel, super friendly staff. Only thing I did not like was a couple of dodgy characters in the back parking lot. I will stay there again.

“Great place to stay”

We needed a place to stay that was clean, quiet, and near the friends we were visiting. This hotel did all of that for us.

“Nice Hotel”

I have no major complaints with this hotel. It was clean, spacious, very nice amenities. Nice large screen TV, refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast had a good variety and the quality was good. they do not provide roll away beds but we made due. The pool is pretty small. I would recommend it to anybody.

“Only place for UCSC visitors to stay”

Perfect, central location. I love that it is so close to freeway. It is the only place I stay when I come to visit my UCSC student. It is economical, clean and convenient.
