"I would not recommend staying here. First of all the picture by the ocean is deceiving. This property is not right on the ocean, Although it is within walking distance to the ocean, it’s still several blocks away.
Secondly, the Internet is horrible. I was in room 424 and I was supposed to be there for six nights and I was unable to plan activities unless I drove offsite. I did mention it to staff after 3 nights and ended up getting changed to a king size room, which was an upgrade and somehow the internet was better.
The maid service left a lot to be desired, there was no consistency… Sometimes they took the garbage and left fresh towels and left the bed unmade, other times they made the bed (only because I asked) but didn’t leave any clean towel towels. It was frustrating especially when I asked specifically.
Due to the numerous frustrations, I ended up checking out two days early and was told the penalty for early checkout was one nights fee. I was willing to accept that, but I still haven’t been reimbursed for the second night. The manager refused to reimburse me for the second night stating I needed to contact Expedia (even though I paid at the hotel). Expedia told me they could not get a hold of him and had tried several times. I pretty much lost two nights expenses.
So no, I don’t recommend staying here. I did not use the hot tub, but it didn’t look that clean and that’s why I stayed out of it. The price is expensive for what you get. Much of it needed updating."
