“Would definitely go back”

Overall, the hotel was outstanding. Service far exceeded any expectations you could have as far as inside staff. The only exception to that was the valet service, which is obviously contracted by the hotel. They were young and noisy and I no one answered the first few times I tried to call for my car. Then when I had to wait for my car anyway, they talked about the club they were going to later and completely ignored me.

“This hotel snob was impressed.”

I've stayed at this hotel previously and was impressed. So when I saw the fabulous deal offered by Expedia, I jumped at the chance to stay there again while in town on business. The offer truly was good only at Expedia - I tried to get the same deal directly with the hotel and they couldn't do it. Now, we did have a view of air conditioners, but I expected that with the rate I paid. The room was quite spacious and very nice and the bed was ultra comfortable.

“Great place to stay”

Wonderful hotel but it can be confusing getting to/from parking deck until you get your bearings. Also, food in the hotel is pricey as well as the restaurants nearby. Good food but be willing to pay. Employees were very hospitable and helpful.

“Renaissance Montgomery”

Friendly staff, comfortable rooms, nearby location of great eating establishments, and parking is much easier than one might think. There is a bit of a distance from room to conference room but that's a very small price to pay for the luxury provided at such a reasonable rate. Extremely glad the Retirement Systems of Alabama has chosen to invest my retirement dollars in such outstanding facilities across the state...second to none, anywhere!
