“will use again”
not fancy and a bit on the old side but very clean, the bed was comfortable. Good economy lodging. Very helpful front desk.
“Good quality for a good price”
We found the hotel to be just as advertised. It sure offers you everything you need for the money you pay. I would recommend it to anyone who goes to Montreal as a turist and spends most of the time in the City. It is walking distance to Old Montreal and water front.
“Good Bang for your Buck”
In my opinion, we couldn't have gotten a better hotel for the money. Very affordable and prime location (1 block from Ste. Catherine Street). Room was in very good condition, and hotel staff was cordial and helpful. On the negative side, the parking was a little shady, as we expected to be in a parking garage. Instead, we were put in a commuter lot across the street from the hotel. Bottom line...If I ever go back to Montreal, I am definitely staying at the Days Inn again.
“A Great Place to stay in Montreal”
Staff was very friendly and helpful.Hotel restaurant had a nice breakfast menu at reasonable prices( $10 per person).Great location of hotel as it is in walking distance to Old Port cafes, museums, waterfront activities,Notre dame. Also just one block from St.Catherine's St. where you can walk to eaton's for shopping( lots of sex stores on the way!).Also close walk to Berri Metro which takes you right to Biodome. Spend the extra $5 to park your car underground. We didn't and our car door lock was half pried off on our 2nd nite stay.Hotel did warn us of theft. There is a fantastic restaurant down the street on Rene Levesque that has the best Montreal deli on rye, great prices and big portions.I was surprised at the lack of restaurants in the area. But the Days Inn was a great stay and I give it a thumbs up!
“Montreal Trip”
We had a wonderful time in Montreal. The people at Days Inn could not have been any nicer, helpful and more than willing to help in any way. The room was very comfortable and clean. Would not hesitate to recomend this hotel to everyone.
“Really good staff and service”
This hotel has the best service. The hotel staff was great. They booked tours, recommended restaurants, gave directions and just really went out of their way to make our trip a success. The room itself was small but had everything we need. The hotel itself is close to all the sites we wanted to see and very close to downtown. If the weather was nicer we would have enjoyed it more.
“Good Hotel”
The location was great walking distance from China Town, Catherine Street and even the Eaton Centre. Downtown location is good for walking around and checking out the town for a new commer. The staff was friendly and answered any questions we had. The only bad thing was the internet service. They provide 5 dollars/24 hours access to an internet room with two computers. The computers were old and the internet was slow. Probably recommend Internet Caffees instead of this service. Other than that the Hotel was nice, clean and comfy. Vacumming and cleaning was always done while we were there. Will go there again if visiting Montreal again. Great Job for a good price!
“its all right”
i liked the hotel the only draw back was the security deposit of 100.00 when does it end with hotels my god. no laundry room but if youre there 2 or 3 days i dont think that really matters i enjoyed my stay thr restaurant downstairs was fantastic. .
“cool place”
very clean & courteous staff. room very nice small but clean. walking distance to almost evrything. would use this hotel again.
“Good Value for an Truly DownTown Hotel”
This hotel has a convenient location to get to all the major attractions downtown. Its parking fee of C$10 per night is reasonable, too. The hotel provides free newspaper every morning. Contrary to what other reviewers had reported, our room did have a TV with loads of cable channels. We managed to watch some matches of the FIFA 2006 Soccer World Cup.
