“excellent hotel”
The hotel is very comfortable, does an excellent breakfast and the the suite arrangement makes it homely. The internet access is simple and works! Very well located just at the tip of the Latin Quartre and the Village.
“Good value, great location”
Our room was clean, comfortable and had a full kitchen. The location is GREAT for us as retired city walkers. Breakfast was good. People are nice. Two problems were road noise (making our Comfort rating above less than a 5) and no cable TV (only antenna).
“THe only critical flaw: " THE PARKING "”
Likedthe hotel overall. The only two little thing I have noticed. The underground parking is awfully narrow with only one driveway (agan very narrow) fr in ad out traffic. The other thing: the tiles grout by the bathtub looked they needed some scrubbing. The rest of the room, the hotel and service including breakfast I found very good !
“Great place”
It's across the street from the Metro. two blocks from Rue St Denis (Comedy and street performance) 4 blocks from the Old Quarter. And you get a SUITE for their prices ! Fantastic
“Excellent value in Montreal”
I stayed at Le Roberval for 3 nights and found the hotel to be a great value. All the rooms have a full kitchen and the staff are extremely helpful and courteous. You can't beat the price. I chose the free parking option on Expedand the location was a secured underground garage immediately behind the hotel. The location is great, within a block of a major metro station and located in the Quartier Latin/Le Village area with many excellent bars and restaurants, and within walking distance of many major tourist sites. Le Roberval will definitely be my choice for future trips to this wonderful city.
“Great for a solo traveler”
The studio that I had was perfect for me -- a little table with an Ethernet port that I could use for Internet access (the front desk supplied me with a Cat 5 cable) and a small main room with a Murphy bed. It also had a kitchenette, which I didn't get much use out of but others might. The staff was very kind and helpful, and the room was very clean.
“Definitely recommended!”
Very nice small hotel, clean, good continental breakfast, not too expensive. The reception staff was extremely friendly although we arrived after midnight. Close to downtown and restaurants. I would definitely recommended.
“Cool place - get a suite”
Place is quiet and well-located. Above all, it has spacious, comfortable suites. Best to speak some French, though!
“Fine”
Well kept and very handy to Montreal areas.
“Excellent Value 3 Stars”
My wife and I selected Hotel Roberval even though it had received mixed reviews. We were not disappointed during our June 2009 stay. The hotel was clean, convenient to tourist sites and metro, and affordable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It wasn't a four or five star hotel, and we weren't expecting that. I would easily rate this three stars. If I had to find something to complain about, it would be no hot items on breakfast buffet, but the hotel does advertise continental breakfast.
