“Lovely room”
We had a very nice experience with this hotel. The room was on the small side, but very pretty (though not at all frilly--a good thing) and cozy. Staff was invariably wonderful: friendly and polite but not at all intrusive. Restaurant was also first-rate, though quite pricy. You should reserve a room with confidence.
“great service”
We had a great time at the jazz festival one reason being the hotel we stayed in. the rate was great thanks to Expedia and the room was upgraded for a minimal amt/ Beds were comfy and the room was clean with a nice tiled bathroom . We liked the fact that there was a safe in the room, and a coffee maker. The personnel were responsive and polite and willing to help in anyway.. It was a great experience. Parking was good since we could park at the University for a minimal amt/ the front desk was kind to let us know about it. The restaurants they recommended were great.. Quick subway trip to the Casino if necessary// I will go back..
“Great hotel in a central location”
The hotel is on a main street in a residential neighborhood. Our room was spacious, newly decorated and quiet. I would stay at this hotel again,
“Very nice hotel”
The Meridien Hotel was very nice with an excellent restaurant/bar. It's close to St. Catherine's street for shopping but a little far from Old Montreal.
“Friendly and quiet”
My family stayed at this hotel and found it to be convenient to everything we wanted to see and do. We liked the smaller size that made us feel safer (only 5 or 6 rooms per floor) and we would definitely return.
“Nice hotel, close to metro station, close to Ste-Cathrine Street”
Everything was fine, good service, clean rooms, good staff, hotel location was good.
“We'd stay here again”
Great location a few blocks from the Metro and plenty of shopping and dining nearby. The staff was very friendly, and the room was bigger than I expected for a city hotel. Room service dinner from the restaurant downstairs was delicious.
“Beautiful Hotel close to everything!!”
The hotel was amazing! Best service I have ever experienced at a hotel - friendly staff, excellent service. Just bear in mind that there is a valet fee!!
“Great hotel”
At first view it doesn't look like much, but when you get in the front door, greeted by the friendly staff, and see the rooms, you are pleasantly surprised. It was close to the Metro and within walking distance to the downtown areas. Lots of restaurants and emenities within blocks. Would definitely stay here again.
“Nice & friendly hotel”
All members of staff were really friendly. The location of the hotel is quite central and within walking distance to the city centre and downtown. Be careful about parking though because I got a parking ticket for parking between 7.30am-8.30am on a meter which only start charging from 9am. A bit confused.
