“A fine place to stay”
Great location, friendly and helpful staff, free parking, excellent service, it was just what we needed. On New Year's Eve with all the late crowds using the Metro, it only took us 15 minutes to get from the center of the Old City to our hotel room in Longueuil.

Great location, litually a stones throw from the metro station, very friendly staff, hotel is very clean and has great facilitys. have already booked in there again for June 2012 for the Canadian Grand Prix. for anybody interested in the Grand Prix it is 1 stop away from the hotel on the yellow metro line :)

Fabulous location, enjoyed the pool and sauna, amazing view, 3 minute walk to the subway and shopping, free parking... I would definitely go again. Highly recommended. I chose this hotel after reading Expedia reviews.
“Good Location with Free Parking”
The hotel is close to Downtown and a transport center next to it. It provides free parking for the guests. The price is much better than the ones in downtown. If you have a car, this is one of the best choice. I called the hotels nearby the airport. You need to pay for parking for the similar price.
“very pleasant stay at the sandman”
very clean and comfortable hotel close to metro stop with easy access to Montreal. Free parking saved us money. hotel staff very congenial and helpful. Downside is breakfast is not included and very expensive at the hotel restaurant, but we picked up breakfast items and ate in our room. (Small refrig. available on request for an additional fee if desired.) Also selected this hotel because it had a pool, but the pool was extremely tiny and crowded when only a few families were using it, so we did not end up using it. however ther is so much to do in Montreal, we did not miss using it. We enjoyed our stay at the Sandman and would highly recommend it, especially for travelers on a budget.

The staff were very helpful. Swimming pool is child friendly (seperate toddler zone and quite warm). Easy access to sights via Metro.

Nice hotel. Close to train and bus. great price and free breakfast. What else do you want? Loved it and would recommend it. Oh, and free parking!
