“Fantastic for Marine Parents”

We recently went to Cherry Point to visit our Marine son. The Hampton Inn, based on previous reviews, was our choice for our first time in the area. We certainly were very pleased with every staff personnel we met. Every aspect of the motel we saw was clean - especially the room, hallway, and lobby. This wil be our "home away from home" each time we return to Havelock. For us, the Hampton Inn at Havelock, North Carolina is tops in our travel places to stay. We'll Be Back!!!

“I'LL BE BACK”

As we arrived, my family and I were very pleased to see how well maintained this hotel was. We had arrived at 10:00 AM, 5 hours earlier than the 3:00 PM check-in time. I went to the front desk at the hotel to ask what the earliest time that we could check in.. I was greeted by a very nice and courteous young lady. She said she could check us in immediately, to my surprise. This was absolutely great, as I just finished a 10 hour drive from northern New Jersey. This gave us a chance to freshen up and get a little rest before meeting up with our son who was deploying to Afghanistan very early the next morning. The room was exceptionally clean and the 2 queen size beds were very comfortable. Breakfast the next morning which was free, was quite good. There were hot waffles, cereals, assorted pastries, microwavable items, fruit, juice, milk and coffee. The entire staff were very helpful and courteous during our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel. The price was a little higher than what I would normally pay, but was well worth it.

“Good Bargain, Comfortable and Clean”

I was very pleased with my stay at the Hampton Inn, Havelock. It was a short drive from the New Bern, NC airport and conveniently located about 20 minutes from the coast. The front desk staff were very professional and friendly. The breakfast included both hot and cold items as well as fresh fruit and a very good coffee bar which is accessible throughout the day. My room was large, clean, and had a very comfortable bed. The only drawback I had was the overhead jet noise from planes leaving from the nearby airport. The hotel is not "high frills" but clean, comfortable and convenient.
