“An excellent option in Moscow for business or visit”
I found this hotel on Expedia and got better rates than those published on the hotel's website. It has an excellent location, two blocks away from Paveletskaya metro / train station. This station has a train service which connects any of the three airports which serve Moscow and costs around USD10 per way, a lot less than a taxi to the city which goes around USD 80. From the same station you will be only two metro stops away from the city center to get to the main attractions. Personnel was very helpful and cooperative, room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Also they speak good English, something very difficult to find around the city. Many thanks to the staff for a wonderful stay, will surely come back.
“A good choice of Busiess hotel in Moscow”
Have stayed in Hotel Milan before, and needed somewhere that provided better cstomer servcice was much closer to the city centre. Katerina City did all these things, and was same or better price. Best things to recommed it: - Free wifi (fast connection speed) - free mini bar snacks - Close to a good metro station (Paveletskia ?)) that connects well with the centre and outer rim of Moscow. - Great food, gym, sauna. - English speaking front desk were very helpful. Will definitely book again.
“Would return to this hotel if I ever go back.”

“Great Hotel, Lovely English speaking Staff & added extras, not expected!”
Had a great time in this Hotel. good location next to the canal parallel with the river. Very short walk to good restaurants (including a GREAT Sushi/Sushimi restaurant) and a Metro station. You can walk the canal or river up to Red Square. The Hotel provides FREE broadband wireless Internet (just get an access code from the reception). They will book all taxis you need (including to the airport) and add to the bill and the mini-bar service with beer, water, crisps & chocolate is FREE! Very happy with the room & service. Only negative was the Dinner in their restaurant. Not very good & overpriced, but with so many restaurants nearby this is not a problem. They do not change money at the hotel, but there is a cash machine in the lobby and a money exchange booth in the next street open until 8.00PM
“A haven in Moscow”
"We serve you better" is their tag line, and indeed they went above and beyond. Moscow is in my opinion a fantastic but crazy place: As a north western European it was very comforting to be able to come back to the Katerina City Hotel, where all the staff spoke English and would help with anything in a friendly (best-of-western) customer service focused manner. For instance, I unfortunately lost my passport in Moscow - the staff's coordinated effort to help me remedy the situation was extremely welcome. The hotel is clean and modern, provides a good breakfast (they even did me a freebie early take out breakfast on my last morning - nice touch!), and is in a good central location. Also KCH have a social responsibility policy, which in a country with an underdeveloped charitable sector, is comforting. I was fortunate enough to be visiting an ex-pat relative who speaks Russian. Hence I would definitely recommend (if possible) to be shown round by a Russian speaker and to meet the locals- ie get a real feel for the city. But on the hotel, I chose to stay there because it has great reviews on expedia / tripadvisor. The positive reviews are accurate. I would stay there again. I recommend it. Have fun in Moscow!
“A great place close to the centre of Moscow”
We found the hotel to be very pleasant, very clean and well managed. Hotel staff had been very helpful for us in obtaining our tourist visa (free of charge). Reception staff spoke good English and were very helpful. The breakfast buffet had an amazing variety of healthy and tasty food and the mini bar was a pleasant extra. The rooms are a bit small, but well organised and cleanliness, location and easy access to metro make this hotel a very good option for a stay in Moscow.
“Excellent Hotel in Moscow Center”
Perfect business hotel in the very center of Moscow. Superb staff, free wireless Internet, free minibar (water, granola bar, juice...) and the best buffet breakfast you could want. Note that the clock, built into the flat screen TV, has no back lighting and is invisible at night, making it hard to check the time for a jet lagged traveler.
“Affordable Stay in the City Center”
I previously lived in Moscow for 5 years and know everything about the city. Last week I had to visit Moscow after one year. Let me say that the location of the hotel is great. You can access everywhere easily from this hotel. Rooms are a little small but clean. Breakfast is good. The only downside was that they provided only one set of towels and very little soap. They expect you come to your room without a guest from the nightclub?
“good impression of Moscow”
My first time visiting Moscow was a very pleasurable experience. The hotel staff was very willing to help me with anything I needed or requested. The reception staff spoke very good English. They were able to accommodate me for early check in. The free breakfast buffet was very good with a nice selection. The mini-bar in the room was refilled daily with snacks and drinks. I also liked the free internet which had a good connection speed if you had to make voice or video calls to family and friends overseas. The hotel is not too far from the metro station. There is also a money exchange place a few blocks down. A grocery store is within walking distance too if needed. I am definitely staying again when I visit Moscow
“Fantastic Hotel & Location”
Have stayed at Hotel Katerina City twice this year, both times extremely impressed with the service, quality, and price! Both times I had 2-3 day stopovers in Moscow, so needed a hotel close to airport transport and the metro. The hotel is less than 5 mins walk from Paveletskaya train station (where you can catch the aeroexpress direct to domodedovo airport) and the same distance to the Moscow metro. Staff are extremely friendly and spoke english. Rooms were clean, and the free mini bar was great as was the free buffet breakfast! Will definitely stay again next time I'm in Moscow.
