“The Leela is fabulous”
Great hotel. Gorgeous pool area, spacious rooms, lovely lobby, lots of shops. We were upgraded to the Royal Club which gave us access to the Executive Lounge - free food throughout the day - wonderful "tastings."

“Wonderful! Wanted to Stay in Mumbai for the Hotel”
A true 5 star hotel. Everything was perfect service from the airport pickup to the sewing kit in my room. The grounds of the hoted are beautiful. Our room was extra clean, the beds perfectly comfortable, the rooms quiet. The breakfast buffet was vast and featured so many fresh items it was difficult to choose. We truly wanted to stay longer in Mumbai, specifically to stay at the hotel!! We will be on the lookout for other Kempinski Hotels becase this one was that good.
“great hotel near international airport”
This hotel is an excellent choice for travelers arriving at Mumbai's international airport. Free pickup/drop-off to both airports is provided and the staff are very reliable - rooms are well appointed and the hotel is like a quiet oasis in Mumbai's chaotic surroundings. Highly recommended!
“If you need a hotel by the Mumbai aiport, this is it!”
This hotel is ~5 min to the International terminal in Bombay and 15 min from the domestic terminal. It is a beautiful hotel with many shops and restaurants to choose from. The room is beautiful, clean and very comfortable. Highly recommend.
“Enjoyed Our Stay”
The hotel was clean, nicely appointed and very secure. The pool was maintained throughout the winter (which was not the case with all of the local hotels.) The staff was attentive and went an extra mile to make our stay comfortable. The front desk sent out for the movie which was not available in the hotel DVD library. The following day the staff spent an hour searching for my daughter's homework she had left at the time of the checkout. The homework was returned to us with smiles. Will definitely return.
“Convenient Luxury hotel in Mumbai”
We had a great stay at the Leela. Hotel staff was extremely professional and attentive, with all expected services from a 5 star hotel. Nothing surprising in the hotel, it is a classic but well maintained establishment. Security was high at the entrance, as in most Mumbai hotels I presume. Food was great in all restaurants except outside at the pool (which is very large and nice but a bit too cold) area where overworked staff cannot cope with even a few tables. The rooms are large and clean, bathroom was a real pleasure. Only drawback was the lack of sound isolation coming from the corridor. Surroundings of the hotel are a sad reminder that slums are a reality in Mumbai just outside the hotel perimeter.

Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport , India: The Chhatrapati Shivaji Airport, situated in Andheri East, is one of the busiest airports in India. The international airport is named after Chhatrapati Shivaji Raje Bhonsle, a 17th-century Maratha Emperor. This area is surrounded by shopping, authentic craft markets, and restaurants. Within a 10km radius from the area are prominent business districts like the Bandra-Kurla complex and the Santacruz Electronics Export Processing Zone (SEEPZ). Other popular local attractions include NSE Exhibition Centre, Borovilli National Park, Film City, and the Bombay Museum.
