“Hotel with great location and service”
Very nice hotel. The owners are very friendly and the location is great. It is not close to the city centre, but the public transport is very convenient. The rooms, although a bit on the cosy side, were very clean. Definitely recommend this hotel!
“Two older Australians”
Very helpful staff, easy access to trains and trams, nice quiet area.
“Didn't last long enough.”
Absolutely fantastic. I met some really helpful and friendly people. I will be going back there again in the near future...Hopefully for longer this time and come armed with some german language in my vocabluary!
“Just what we needed in a hotel”
The Hotel Laimer Hof was a wonderful place to stay for the weekend. It is the staff that make the place, with the owners being incredibly helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.
“The friendliest hotel you will ever stay at”
I wish every hotel was like this. Upon arrival we were greeted by the friendliest person I have ever met that went out of his way to personally welcome us to to the hotel and Germany. It was clean, good size room and all the amenities you can use. They gave us free wifi access whenever we needed it. If I ever go back to Munich I will stay there without question. It's a few minutes walk to the train to get transportation around and a few minutes drive to the christmas market in winter time. There is adequate free street parking around the hotel however the roads are very narrow and you must go very slow through them.
“Friendly hosts and a great hotel”
Very friendly and helpful hotel owners and staff. Good location with only a short tram ride into the middle of town. The room was clean and the area is safe.
“An excellent stay”
Clean, comfortable, and quiet hotel staffed by courteous, helpful people. Great location for visiting Nymphenburg Castle, park, and local biergarten; with easy walking distance access to streetcars to the center of Munich. Family friendly, yet with old world charm that couples will enjoy as well.
“Quiet neighborhood away from the city”
The hotel staff was possibly the best we encountered during our 10 day vacation. They spoke incredibly good english and were very honest about what to see and do. It is only about a ten minute walk to the trolley to get downtown. Once you get to the Marienplatz you are good to go just about anywhere. Their breakfast was very good for 8 euro. The best soft boiled eggs around! No lift, but they were very helpful if you need a hand getting your bags to your room. Free wifi available as well for 2 hours at a time. They will give you as many extra codes if you ask. One of the most amazing things to me about such a technology driven country is how far behind they are with wifi spots and...if you do find them they are usually pay sites like Tmobile.
“Hospitality and Comfort near Schloss Nymphenburg”
If you are a parent with small children this could be a great place to stay in Munich. The park of the Schloss is exceptionally beautiful, large, varied and full of water fowl. The Schloss is interesting to visit. And there is a children's science and nature museum in a wing of the Schloss. Although Isaiah could not understand the audio, he still loved the wonderful animal exhibits. The neighborhood is pleasantly calm, with excellent restaurants that cater to families with children. We especially liked Schwaige Bier Garten in the Schloss, which even had a small playground with toys. There are small shops but not many - mostly a residential neighborhood. The hotel is quaint, very well taken care of and the staff is exceptionally warm, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is perfect German big breakfast in a light filled room with charm. Very easy to relax and enjoy.
“Abfab”
Very helpful & welcoming staff. Concerned that we saw everything we wanted & that we enjoyed ourselves.
