“It is what it is which is what we wanted”
We wanted a clean comfortable place to stay near the airport - Novotel do this very well. A bit too business orientated for us, but that is their job. Excellent, comfortable room and bathroom. Meals and drinks pricey if you are not on an expense account but the room cost reasonable. Shuttle bus to airport and the S-Bahn to Munich excellent.
“Munich Airport”
Finally I stayed in a hotel good enough that I felt I was home. I had a flight late in the afternoon and the staff allowed me to stay as long as I wished at no extra charge; checkout time was noon.

“Great place to stay near Munich Airport”
I'd stayed here on the first day of a 3 week European trip, and enjoyed it so much I decided to end my trip here as well. There is a free shuttle to the airport just around the corner from the hotel, restaurant is decent and even a free early bird breakfast for those departing before 6:30am.
“Best hotel in the airport premises, per price”
I only stayed one night, so I couldn't really see all the amenities that this hotel offers. The room was very comfortable, good size. The hotel doesn't have a shuttle to the airport, but one can take a bus to the airport, just outside the hotel. The hotel will sell the bus tickets and will provide the bus schedule.

“Just what we needed”
After the long flight from Los Angeles to Munich, we needed a clean, modern hotel close to the airport, so we could get much-needed sleep and become adjusted to the time zone. Novotel fit the bill perfectly. Staff was friendly, beds were comfortable, and decor pleasantly modern European. Next morning we caught the conveniently nearby train to the city. We'll come back again.
“Good location for airpot”
I was flying in late to Munich so I thought the Novotel would be a good base for visiting the Expo Centre the next day. I got the 635 bus from the airport (every 20 minutes), locating the bus stop was a little tricky at first as I didn't see the 80m distance, which seem to take you outside the terminal and avoid a street sign that blocked your path. The bus cost 1.50 Euro and was two stops from the airport. The hotel reception were swift at check-in, and the bar was open till 1am. The room was clean, but a strange separate arrangement with the toilet / bathroom meant that there was no hand basin in the toilet. The only poor part was the breakfast - 19 Euros which I feel is really overpriced for what was on offer. Check out was simple and a taxi was ordered and arrived swiftly to take me back to the airport to get a shuttle bus to the Expo. I would probably stay there again.
“Very nice hotel”
Hotel was very clean and quiet, good bed, and free bus service to the Munich airport. We paid for buffet breakfast with our reservation.......it was fabulous......something to please everyone whether you are European or American.
“The best hotel for stay at airport”
The room was clean, well arrange and pamper!!! The breakfast at the hotel was excellent The reception clerk was very kind and give us an assist to contact airberlin office.
