Loved the hotel restaurant and bar. Very fine place to spend a night before your next flight.

“Nice Hotel!”
The hotel is extremely convenient if you have an early morning departure. I stayed there with my family of 6 (3 rooms) and couldn't be more pleased. You can hop on the S1 train and be in town in about 40 minutes. This is way easier the driving and parking. The rental car return is located directly across the street from the hotel, another plus. The breakfast is awesome with a great variety. I definitely recommend this hotel.
“Munich Airporrt Hotel”
I chose this hotel because it was directly in the airport. From the time I got out of the car to taking my luggage to the terminal, I received first class service. The room was very nice and clean but not luxurious. It was the overall serevice and location that made this a place that rates 5 stars. My only complaint was the internet fee. For what you pay for a room, they could include free wifi in the room. The food service was excellent, both the restaurant and room service. There wwere many areas close to the hotel to eat, shop, etc. Overall, it was a great experience.
“Excellent choice for outbound travelers”
The Airport Kempinski is a luxury hotel with larger than average rooms and well-equipped bathrooms. The beds were comfortable. The airport S-bahn is about 2 mintues from the hotel. You can get downtown to Marienplatz in about 35 minutes. On top of all that, being five minutes from Lufthansa check-in was worth the higher cost compared to more centrally-located Munich hotels.
“Great hotel with convenient access to the terminals”
Hotel was excellent and service was great. Arranged a ride to the terminal on arrival and the car was there on time and it only took 5 minutes to get to the terminal for departure to the US.
“Lost in translation, I guess.”
The room was comfortable and clean. However I had to argue with the staff about the "included" breakfast buffet on at least 3 different occasions. One employee told me that showing Expedia's paid receipt that clearly stated "included" meant nothing to him. When the frontdesk personnel finally caved in and agreed that the issue was settled positively for me, the buffet hostess next morning told me I was not "on the list". She gave a courtesy call to the front desk to double check and after hanging up turned to me and said, "It's confirmed, you do not have buffet included". Jees... 4 stars, ha? P.S. the conversations with staff were in English, maybe it would have sounded better in German.
“For the early morning flight”
In the center of Munich airport and very convenient, just a short walk, to either terminal. Room was well appointed, very comfortable and quiet. Especially quiet for being at the airport. Check-in and check-out could not have been easier or quicker and the staff was courteous and helpful. Although relatively expensive it was well worth it to make sure I made it to my early morning flight.

“Convienent and practical hotel for a lay over.”
I spent a night at the Kempenski Hotel Munich Airport due to a lay over on my way to Mallorca. The hotel was clean. The room very comfortable and the staff was very helpful. The hotel has a fitness center with couple of treadmills, stationary bikes, eliptical machines and weight machines. Its an easy walk across a courtyard from terminal two of the Munich Airport to the reception area.
