"The location of this hotel is prime! It was clean and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Lobby is very nice but rooms could use some TLC. Still clean but you can tell the trim is banged up, old and could use a make over. The location and staff made up for that. Will definitely be staying there again!"

"We really liked the location in Old Montreal. Historic exterior of the hotel is beautiful. Rooms have character but are worn in areas. Our bed frame squeaked pretty loudly. We did like the on premise restaurants and the food was good, although the service was very slow most days. The Spa was nice and provided the services we were looking for. The room was noisy, with street noise, hallway noise and A/C rattles and hums. The blinds were not fully functional and lots of light comes in even when the blinds are closed. Our room was only serviced once in four days with no explanation, only an "I'm sorry about that" from the front desk at checkout. Hotel is not overly secure with multiple entrances with elevator access unattended and no card key elevator access system. Overall it was a just OK experience, nothing egregious but not close to 5 star."
