Property Amenities
Part of the famous Grand Strand's 60 miles of beaches along South Carolina's coast, this north-end resort is one mile from Tanger Outlet Mall and two miles from Barefoot Landing, a boardwalk with shops, restaurants, and live entertainment. Sands Ocean Club Resort has a private beach with direct access from the property.
The hotel is equipped with 6,000 square feet of meeting space and group hospitality rooms. Webcam broadcasting is available in conference rooms. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in the lobby, and a computer desk with printer has complimentary high-speed Internet access as well.
Recreational amenities include indoor and outdoor pools, two spa tubs, lazy river, fitness center and game room. The Sands Ocean Club Resort also has a lobby lounge, seasonal outdoor bar, and two cafés. The hotel also offers babysitting/child care services (surcharges may apply).
Complimentary airport transportation is available on request, and parking is free.
The full-service Atlantis Spa offers a variety of treatments including spa and basic manicures and pedicures; body waxing and bronzing; deep-tissue and stone massages; anti-aging and deep-pore-cleansing facial treatments; and spa packages for men and women.

Sands Ocean Club Resort's 572 guestrooms are located in one 16-story, one 17-story, and one 19-story towers. All guestrooms have furnished walk-out balconies or patios and kitchenettes with compact refrigerators, microwaves, and coffeemakers. High-speed Internet access is available (surcharge).

Ocean Annie's Beach Bar A Myrtle Beach landmark, this seasonal beach bar serves tropical drinks and has a huge sundeck with tables, umbrellas, and live entertainment stage with two bands performing daily March through mid-November.
Window's Restaurant - This casual restaurant overlooks the beach and is open for breakfast only, from early to mid-morning. Breakfast is free for children ages 12 and younger.
Sandals Lounge - Adjacent to the lobby, this lounge with seasonal fireplace and six large TVs provides nightly karaoke and complimentary happy hour hors d'oeuvres in a retro setting. Open from late afternoon until early morning.
River City Café In addition to down-home favorites such as Tex-Mex cheeseburgers and Cajun shrimp po boy, this rustic beachfront café and deli offers complimentary peanuts; guests are encouraged to toss shells on the wood floors. Open for lunch and dinner only.
Recreation
Guests at Sands Ocean Club Resort have direct access to a private beach. An oceanfront sundeck includes a large splash pool and lazy river. Two spa tubs and an indoor splash pool overlook the beach. The Sands Kids Club has supervised children's activities (seasonal). A small fitness center has three treadmills, three bikes, weight-training machine, and TV.
Guests of the Sands Ocean Club Resort enjoy privileges at partner properties within five miles of the resort. Facilities include lazy rivers, numerous pools, a health club with fitness center and massage services, and complimentary access to a nearby water park. South Carolina is famous for its golf courses and there are 120 golf courses along the Grand Strand beaches.

“Nice hotel”
This hotel is clean, comfortable and has nice ammenities. We enjoyed the indoor pool and the ocean view.
“Great Stay”
They have a great poolside bar with live entertainment which started at 1:00 pm and continued as long as people stayed to hear them. The band was great and played every type of music. Our room was more of a condo which was a nice surprise, very comfortable and clean. We are already planning on staying there again next year.
“We can't wait to go back”
My daughter and I wanted a few days to enjoy the beach and we were very fortunate to find Sands Ocean Club Resort. The people were very nice and helpful and the room was great. We were right on the beach which was just what we wanted. The room was clean and neat, and it had a full kitchen - great! We will look forward to going back again often. Thanks!

“Festive”
Enjoyed the live band at the Cabana on the beach, even in the winter. Beautiful indoor pool and big heaters to keep us warm. Really enjoyed.
“Would go back”
The hotel is in pretty good condition. We had an efficency room. The only complaint I had was the appliances were a little outdated, but the ones we saw in the suites were much nicer. The staff is extremely friendly. There were bell hops to help with our bags. I was very impressed when after about 45 minutes of settling in, the front desk called to make sure everything was to our satisfactions. The two bars on location were nice as well.
“fun for all”
I took my mom and kids here to relax and by far the most exciting part of the trip was the room we stayed in ocean sands resort...there was something for everyone! A live band that my mom loved and pools inside and out that the kids were no stranger to and a lovely view that I enjoyed watching from

Our room was roomie, comfortable, and the view was breath taking. Had a problem with towels, but they were prompt to bring them up. I've been recommening this resort to everyone we know.
“I love this place”
We arrived in at our hotel at 7:30 am, way before the 3 oclock check in and we were so tired after driving 15 hrs we didnt know what to do until check in so i went in to see how early we could get in and i was told the room was ready right then. That was nice for us. We were able to rest a little bit before we got our vacation going. The pool and ocean annies was awesome and we had a blast at night at sandals bar inside the hotel. It was so nice you really didnt have to go anywhere to have a good time. The staff was excellent and very friendly. I will definetly be returning to sands ocean club resort.
