“Great hotel”
A very nice place to stay, very conviently located
“A GREAT EXPERIENCE!”
HOTEL STAFF VERY FRIENDLY, ROOM WAS VERY SPACIOUS AND VERY CLEAN, GREAT SERVICE, GREAT VIEW , VERY IMPRESSED, LOCATION IS WALKING DISTANCE TO DOWNTOWN AND FISH FRY AND BEACH RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET. WOW! CAN'T WAIT TO RETURN NEXT MONTH.
“Comfy & Clean”
Nassau Palm Hotel was a safe, clean and inexpensive place to stay. The room was clean and had a great view of the ocean. The staff was nice and welcoming as well as helpful with information about what to do around the island. The continental breakfast was better than the continental breakfast in the states. The hotel does offer a scooter to rent but I recommend renting from a different place. The scooter was a little shaky.
“This Budget hotel allowed us to go on Vacation!!!”
We read a lot of bad reviews about this hotel and were really nervous. To our relief, it turned out to be just fine! Really, for the price it is a true bargain. It's centrally located, so we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Just a few blocks from Straw market, ferries to snorkeling and Paradise Island. The other direction it was just a few blocks to the fish fry restaurants and the fort. Right across the street was laid-back beach with refreshments and music--it wasn't nearly as crowded as the "touristy" cabbage beach. The breakfast in the morning had some hot foods, a lot more than some US continental breakfasts provide. Sure, it was a little rough around the edges, but heck, you're in the Bahamas so who cares??? We had a wonderful and relaxing trip. We wouldn't have been able to afford the trip without finding a hotel for a decent price, so having this budget option made all the difference to us.
“People at the hotel were very nice and helpful.”
One thing I did not like at this hotel was that, the local people were in the hotel pool, and no one did anything about it. My last day, there was these three girls in the hot tub with their kids.
“I would Love to go there again!”
Just about what we expected. It's not a luxurious hotel, but just right for the price we paid, clean, safe and in a nice area - everything is very close.
“Very Satisfied”
SHOULD BE 4 STAR HOTEL AND NOT A 2!! Trust me you will not be disappointed!!
“Location, Location, Location”
Good value for the money. Nothing fancy but clean & friendly accommodations. Within walking distance for sightseeing, beaches & dining. Can also take local bus for $1.25. One restaurant offered free round trip shuttle service. Taxis were easy to take since fees are set ahead of time. If your main interest is Nassau, this is the place to stay.
“LOVED THE BAHAMAS!”
Nassau Palm was a great pick! The location is excellent for everything you need. Everyone at the hotel from front desk to Security was pleasant, helpful and assisted with pleasure if you needed them. The air conditioning was good, bed and sheets were ok, bathroom was good. The CARPET is awful. We learned fast to not walk bare foot in the room. They can definitely afford to invest in new carpeting! All of the natives are friendly. Bahamas and Nassau Palm is a great vacation!! Be sure to visit Atlantis! Tip:go at nite, its less crowded, you will be amazed at the aquarium, its more beautiful with all the lights and great shopping and food are all there. You will definitely go to the Fish Fry area....TWIN BROTHERS FOOD & GRILL MASTER FOOD IS OFF THE CHARTS!!!! I get goose bumps thinking about it. LOL Nassau Palm is a ok stay, but if you can afford the Hilton which is not far...stay at the Hilton.
