“Best Hotel in Jamaica”

Couldn't ask for a more perfect hotel. The staff was best, the food is some of the best i had while in Jamaica, and the rooms were awesome! I couldn't ask for more. My wife and I had the most relaxing time. We're already planning our return, and we just got home!

“Little piece of Paradise”

Tensing Pen is a real jewel. For a relaxing vacation, excellent food and friendly service there could be no better. Don't worry about the lack of air conditioning in the cottages - the sea breeze and the fans keep you cool in a most pleasant way, much better that a/c. Some of the cottages nicely isolated if that's what you desire and they have well placed ladders to get into the sea from the cliffs for swimming and excellent snorkelling.

“Honeymoon Paradise”

From the moment we arrived at the gates of the resort, we thought of nothing but beauty. This amazing establishment made the wait worth while. The Pine Pillar provided astounshing scenery as well as peaceful serenity. For being a Honeymoon trip, I would recommend Tensing Pen, and it's staff, to anyone looking for amazement.

“Best Hotel in Negril for Relaxation”

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! Tensing Pen is one of the most amazing and romantic places I have ever been. If you are looking for a place to connect with your significant other ( or an amazing place to propose) this is it. The pictures do not begin to show you how amazing this place is. The salty ocean air and the sounds... the amazing sounds of the Caribbean as it crashes along the rocks....so wonderful. The property is lush and has done an amazing job using natural wood to blend it perfectly with nature. The cliffs are amazing and the jumping in and floating in the Caribbean was truley soothing for my soul. I felt instantly relaxed and well taken care of by the equally beautiful people who work so hard to run this amazing hotel. You won't be disappointed and I secretly don't want too many people to find out this gem. We got back this morning and I am secretly trying to plan my return already. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

“Great hotel away from the crowds”

This is an excellent boutique hotel away from the crowds. The property is beautifully designed and located on a cliff with gorgeous views of the ocean (even during a thunderstorm). Excellent service from the front desk staff. They went out of their way to get me a last minute massage 2 hours before I was departing on a Sunday morning (the massage was also excellent). Make sure your room has a/c if you need it because not all rooms have it (mine did). Also, the property is not on the beach - there is easy access the water, but the hotel is on a cliff, so there's no sand. Plenty of beach chairs around for you to lay out on and enjoy the view, though.

“Plan to make it a yearly trip at Tensing Pen”

This hotel was amazing. I travel alot and usually where ever I go I think to my self that I had a great time but I will go some where new next time. With the Tensing Pen, I loved it so much I plan to stay there once a year. The people were so nice, the place was gorgeous, the food was to die for and overall it felt like heaven!

“Heaven on earth”

Tensing Pen is perfect in every way. I would recommend this hotel to couples, friends and single travelers. If you are looking for a private relaxing vacation Tensing Pen is the place. The staff is excellent and the grounds are beautiful. I could not find one bad thing to say about this resort. I would go nowhere else in Jamaica but Tensing Pen.

“Just Like the Pictures”

Loved this hotel. Just beware that some of the cottages have outdoor showers that offer very little privacy (South PIllar for one). Hope to go back every year! This hotel looks just like the pictures!

“Tranquil, serene, lovely”

These is a beautiful and tranquil spot. All the "huts" are different and charming, with a stunning view over the Caribbean. The whole place is lovely. Bars and restaurants within walking distance, and very frequent cheap shared taxi rides to the rest of Negril Great for relaxation.

“Can't wait to go back! They truly make you feel special.”

My boyfriend and I stayed at Tensing Pen for 4 days/nights - and we wish we could have stayed longer. We came to Jamaica for a friend's wedding at another resort. And we were so happy that we didn't stay there! Tensing Pen is by far one of the best kept secrets of Jamaica. Everyone is so friendly, the food is great, the drinks are wonderful, and the wildlife (crabs, birds, lizards, snails, hermit crabs, flowers, etc.)is amazing.We had a lot of fun jumping off the cliffs and bridge into the water. Writing this is making me want to go back!
