“Was impressed with the cleanness and friendlyness of the hotel”
for a family of ten going to a wedding . we were very impressed overal with the hotel
“Positives and Negatives”
Positives: We arrived at 10am for the water park and asked if we could leave our suitcase at the front desk until check-in at 4pm. They said that we could do early check-in and got us a room right away. Very accommodating. Negatives: Our room was on the 1st floor looking out at the hotel pool (hours of operation 8am to 10pm). It was VERY noisy! and our little girl couldn't get to sleep that night. The hotel restaurant buffet was awful. Mac and Cheese, Chicken Strips, Mozarrella sticks, all tasted mostly of oil and the soup/salad did not look appealing. The wait staff appeared bored and we had to ask several times to get our drinks refilled
“A Game of Survivor”
A group of mom's and kids decided to visit Coco Keys and stay overnight at the hotel. Although we expected it to be busy we could never have imagined the chaos we experienced. It was like a game of survivor. We arrived at 9:45 a.m. and there was a line into the water park that went almost out the door. When we made our way to the hotel lobby, there was a long line of people waiting to check in and get their water park passes. However, when we elbowed our way back to the water park area with bags, coats and kids in toe, we were disappointed to discover that lockers weren't provided and had to go back to the water park desk and stand in yet another line to get a locker (which cost $6). When we got our locker key, we learned that there were almost no lockers left and had to search for one. The park was jam packed, lines to the changing rooms and bathrooms, and not a table or chair to be had as they were all taken even though the park had just opened. As the day went on, the toilets in the ladies room became clogged, and the hot water for the showers wasn't working at one point. There were no staff aaround to help answer questions or direct you. As paying hotel guests coming to use the water park, we expected that we would have been given some kind of preference at the water park but you are treated no different than someone who walks off the street to use the park. The whole experience was overwhelming and disappointing. Even the kids were overwhwlmed by the chaos.
“service”
disappointing in general....the staff were nice but there was just not enough of them....only one person was delivering room service.....breakfast was an hour late..chaos.... rooms by the pool smelt horrible....upstairs rooms were ok but worn....I shut the shower off and the wall unit was not attached to the wall...towels were worn...food in restaurant was good..i would not stay there again
“Dirty Hotel”
This was a Holiday Inn now it is privately owned. Hallways were dirty and have not been vacumed. Everything smelled of clorine from the waterpark. Staff was rude and very unfriendly.
