“Great Honeymoon!”
The city and hotel were everything we expected and more. Room service was tasty and reasonable.
“Good Food also”
Nice clean hotel close to French Quarter Good Food friendly staff
“Great place to stay in New Orleans.”
The location was perfect, the staff welcoming, polite and very helpful. The lobby, elevators, corridors and room were clean and orderly. Our room was nicely decorated, comfortable and well supplied. Daily housekeeping was wonderful and attentive. We were happy to have the refrigerator and microwave (only used refrigerator). We bought a cocktail at the bar and went to the roof top pool area to watch the sun set and enjoy the great view. It was a short walk to the French Quarter and close to all public transportation.
“Very happy”
Very helpful front desk staff, very polite staff all around. My room was very nice, but wi-fi didn't always work properly, which was a bit frustrating. The breakfast buffet was a bit pricey, especially if you don't need a made-to-order omelette. However, staff seemed to recognize this.
“Great Location for the price!”
Very close to the French Quarter, only a short walk. Everything was great, no problems with our stay.
“Can't wait to visit again!”
When we first got to New Orleans, it was Fat Tuesday and getting to our hotel proved to be a challenge in itself! But once we got there, the hotel staff were quick at meeting all our needs. Parking was a little expensive but that's to be expected anywhere inside the Quarter. We were 2-3 blocks from Bourbon Street, and got to enjoy the "Trucks Parade" right after getting there, so that was definitely a plus! I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to New Orleans!!!!
“Very nice Hotel!”
Hotel was great! The only issue was that they only have valet parking for guests so you have to pay an additional fee for parking. Other than that the room was great, staff was friendly and it was within walking distance of everything!
“Excellent City Centre Hotel”
Very nice hotel - our favourite of the three places we stayed on this visit to New Orleans (the others being a hotel on the corner of Bourbon St, and another a B&B in the Garden District) . It's significantly cheaper than the nearby Hilton on Canal Street, probably because it's less geared to tourists. But it's only two blocks from the French Quarter, and had all the facilities we needed. Plus, it was much quieter than the hotel closer to the French Quarter! The foyer area is particuilarly nice, with a sunny view west over the business district and big comfy couches to relax in. The rooftop pool is too small and shallow for swimming, really, but there are excellent views of the city including the French Quartet. The room was very pleasant and clean, and pretty quiet once we turned the aircon off. Feather pillows though, which may not be to everyone's taste. There is free internet in the business room's computers, and they work properly, which is not true of all hotels! Food was fine in the restaurant area. There is also a handy mini-shop. Our one comment to note would be that, although check in is listed as 11am, you can't actually get into your room until later in the day (but they will mind your luggage for you). Oh, and you need to use your room card in the lift to get to the upper floors where the rooms are - we weren't the only ones who didn't realise this initially!
“Excellent service. Great location.”
I have done a lot of traveling. This is an excellent hotel with outstanding service, in close proximity to the French Quarter, with less noise and congestioin.
“Weekend Getaway”
This hotel was very clean and well kept. The staff were very helpful, attentive and pleasant. The location of the Garden Inn was great. We were able to walk to all the attraction that we were in town to visit. My visit to New Orleans Hilton Garden In was very satisfactory. Exceeded our expectation, and I am a stickler on hotel choices. Going with a branded hotel is always a good choice. Thanks Hilton!!!!!!
