“Perfect !”
no problems whatsoever, room was clean, comfortable. i did get to use the gym and the business center.
“5 star quality”
Truly a 5 star hotel. The history and beauty of the hotel was better than anticipated. I have been to NO several times and appreciate the close access to Bourbon St without having to have the noise at night. Hotels on Bourbon are nice as long as you don intend on sleeping. This hotel has a great bar in house for a quick start or end to the night. Staff was extremely helpful. Who Dat!
“Monteleone”
Even though I live in Slidell, LA, just north of Lake Ponchartrain, my wife and I stayed in the city to meet some business associates (military type) who were in town for a conference I arranged for the next day. We had a "meet and greet" in the Carousel Lounge, then went out to eat and wander the city. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Neither of us had stayed at the Hotel Monteleone before, and our stay was everything we hoped for.
“nice hotel, great location”
stayed here and thought the pool and bar were really good. nice place to stay
“Would return in a heartbeat”
We were there for just one night, which was a shame. We love this hotel. I have stayed before and would do so again in a heartbeat.
“Bonnie and Al's New Orleans Experience”
This hotel is extremely charming. It is right in the French Quarter within walking distance of all the action. Bourbon Street is one block away. Some of the finest restaurants are also a short walk away. The staff, from the front desk to the concierge to the doormen to the maid service, was terrific. We had a most enjoyable stay and will return again! P.S. The Carousel Bar was spectacular and a great meeting place.
“Monteleone, Hotel With Loads Of Charm!”
The Monteleone is a lovely hotel in the heart of the French Quarter. There are many great restuarants and many many boutique shops very close. Burbon Street is a couple blocks away. The casino and riverwalk are about 6 blocks. It is very safe to walk at night.
“Mardi Gras 2012”
Stayed during Mardi Gras, things were crazy, but what do you expect during this time of year. The bar across the street turned down their music around 1 am so it was not too bad. We had a corner room so we could watch the party on 2 streets at time, have to say it was pretty amusing at times.
“Great Location”
This hotel is in a great location. Right in the heart of the French Quarter and within walking distance to many of the area attractions. It is also very close to the trolly which can get you to the Warehouse District and Garden District. The rooms though a little small are very nice. Our only complaint would be that the staff could be a little more friendly. They were polite just not very outgoing.
“Wonderful Experience”
We celebrated our 30th anniversary at the hotel where we spent our honeymoon. We were very pleased to see that it has been updated and is very clean. We would highly recommend it, and the location is excellent...heart of French Quarters. I encourage everyone to visit New Orleans again. They need our support!!!
