“Great little hotel!”
The staff was fantastic. The location is great, not too far from Bourbon but just far enough that you don't have to hear all the madness.
“Great staff!”
The best thing about the Richelieu is the staff. Courteous, helpful and friendly. Also liked the secured parking and the location, on the edge of the French Quarter and near the French Market. As a woman travelling alone, I felt perfectly safe.
“Soooo charming!”
This was my second stay and once again it did not disappoint. The staff is so helpful and the hotel is so charming. Great quiet location. Can't wait until my return.
“Great location and stay”
Beautiful hotel. Room was large and comfortable. Location is fantastic! I liked that it was self part so it made it easy to get to the car.
“Le Richelieu, New Orleans, LA”
Great hotel with helpful, knowledgeable staff. Location is quiet, and ideally located on the edge of the French Quarter, up near Frenchman's.This was our second stay at Le Richelieu, and we plan to return.
“Stars to Le Richelieu”
My room at Le Richelieu was spacious, comfortable and clean. I especially enjoyed the large counter space in the bathroom where I could "spread out" my toiletries, make-up, etc. Near my bed were plenty of outlets for recharging my phone and using my laptop. The Terrace Cafe suited my breakfast needs, but I did find it a bit pricey. The staff on the desk and throughout the hotel were courteous, accomodating and gracious. It was a very pleasant atmosphere! Another nice feature was its distance from Bourbon Street, but its accessibility to the French Market and Decatur Street. Low noise levels and the fragrance of flowers in bloom make Le Richelieu a future choice when I visit the Vieux Carre.
“Comfy & Cozy”
For the price, it far exceeded my expectations. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a security guard on duty which gave me peace of mind. Excellent hotel, staff, location and will be back!
“Fantastic Hotel”
A great hotel perfectly located for the French Quarter and Frenchman Street (and Envie's - a delightful little local cafe). Very friendly staff, nice bar and pool. Highly recommended.
“Nice, quiet place to stay in the French Quarter”
We enjoyed staying at Le Richelieu because it is within walking distance to everything in the French Quarter, as well as public transportation, yet there were no noisy bars or clubs in the immediate area. This hotel was also conveniently close to Frenchman's Street, where there are a number of clubs offering great music for no cover charge, but with out the craziness of Bourbon Street. The room was quaintly furnished (each room is different) and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Free Wifi was easily accessed, but a little on the slow side.
“All about location”
I was shocked to find a full kitchen in my room! Was in a perfect location from all the noise in the French Quarter and will stay there again.
