“Will be using again!”
A little gem just outside of the hustle and bussle of the french quarter. Looking forward to return visits!!
“Would go back in a heartbeat”
Picturesque, quaint, charming. Comfortable, hospitable. Worthy of a return visit. Welcoming, A great value, small but roomy. Well located, parking, free breakfast, a charming host who ensures you have what you need and are comfortable. And we felt safe. We love New Orleans, it had been years since we've been there, will return again soon, and this is definitely where we will stay when we come back. It felt just right...
“Highly Recommend”
Very home like feel, comfortable room, beautifully decorated. Breakfast on the veranda, wonderful court yard. The gentlemen that run this establishment are friendly and helpfull. They offer free parking and are located close to the French Quarter. We have every intension of returning to stay again.
“Great New Orleans atmosphere. Would definitely go back!”
Hotel was fun and quaint. It definitely added to our New Orleans experience. Location at edge of French Quarter made it convientent and fun to spend time in Quarter. Hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. Made us feel welcome. Loved the breakfast in the courtyard complete with linen napkins and china.
“Best Deal in the French Quarter!”
Amazing Hotel, very simple and confortable. The owners are very kind, helping with advises for the city! We'll go back in this hotel without hesitation next time! Probably the best deal in the quarter, the price is terrific and the breakfast a great moment! Thank you!!!
“Had the Feeling of Home”
My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for two nights. It was great. Had a real homey feel to it. Only thing was that the sheets are somewhat thin and the pillows flaten out a bit. Next time we go, and I will go back, I will bring my own blanket and pillow. We had a great time and the walk to the French Quarter was an easy walk... It was even easy for someone who got a bit tipsy. All in all I was happy with the Guest House and I will go back. Oh and number 14 is haunted by a kindly older woman. She was sweet. The courtyard was great and again the House was very homey.
“Great B & B, convenient to French Quarter”
Friendl;y, helpful staff. Excellent breakfast (coffee, choice of juice, delicious fresh fruit plate, crossiant), beautiful flowered patio, comfortable room, within walking distance of French Quarter.
“Charming and close to the French Quarter”
This B & B had a lot of charm and the owner was very nice and helpful. The free parking was great. The location was very close to the French Quarter, so it was nice to be able to walk to go out. I live in hotels for work (95% of the year). I have seen some really nice hotels and some really gross hotels. This is a grat place and great price. I would stay here again.
“Best place EVER!”
Oh man, if i could live here i would. I've stayed at cheap airport hotels, 5 star Hollywood hotels and a lot of places in between, and i can say that this was the absolute BEST accommodation i have stayed at on any vacation, period. The staff are so friendly, the building is absolutely gorgeous, and the character of the place is incredible. Why stay at a boring hotel that looks the same as it would in any other city when you can stay in an old building with lots of New Orleans character? The location is perfect- just cross the street and you're in the French Quarter! It's also close to the quieter side of the FQ with a lot of restaurants locals go to. It's also a quick walk to Cemetery No.1 if you want to do some sight seeing! The continental breakfast was suuuuper delish too! Fruit, a fresh croissant and all the juice and coffee you can drink! I was really glad it was a lighter breakfast because of all the greasy food my bf and me would inevitably eat later in the day! On the second day of our visit, my bf and me said 'the only thing this place is missing is a cat!' .... And a few hours later we met the two kitties who live there! Stella and Stanley are their names! Stanley was a little shy, but Stella was pretty friendly! It was so nice having them around!! So to sum it up, if i'm ever filthy rich, i'm just going to become a permanent resident of this B&B. I miss it so much already!
“sweet little place”
I loved staying here. The 2 guys take turns covering the desk , so you always knew someone. They were both thrilled to tell you about New Orleans and where to go to eat and sight see. The rooms were cozy with unique old furniture and comfy beds. The bathrooms were modern with a nice hot shower. (Bring your own shampoo, etc) avery small, but free and off the street parking lot, more than enough room. Continental breakfast was lovely. The only draw back for me as a solo woman traveler was it was a 3 block walk through a residential area before you got to well populated streets. I took a cab at night, as the hotel owners suggested. I did not have any problems, but I was warned multiple times that New Orleans is not a safe city and pay attention, which I did and had no problems. nice hotel, will go back soon
