“Great stay in a great location”
We had a petite queen room, and it is small, but adequate, we were only ther for two nights, so we did not have much luggage, if we had more baggage it would be more cramped. Location is supurb, parking is pricey. We will return to this hotel, great rooftop facilities.
“GOOD LOCATION AND HELPFUL STAFF”
The hotel staff were extremely helpful throughout the process. We checked in and then arranged for an early check-in for my daughter, who was arriving the next day. No problem. We needed advice about what to see and where to go and the concierge was thoughtful and gave good advice. My wife craved a diet coke when the little store was closed and the front desk opened up for us and provided a refreshing diet coke. The location was perfect for us, within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and just two blocks from Bourbon Street. The rooms were small but comfortable and the plumbing was adequate. I didn't use the hotel Internet connection so can't comment on it.
“Wonderful hotel with a great location”
Beautiful hotel with an extremely friendly staff. Great location! The room was perfect - bed was comfortable and bathroom was reasonable size. Would like to see a larger TV in the room, but of course, we weren't in NOLA to watch TV!
“Delightful Omni Royal Hotel”
Perfect location. Homey, yet elegant. Wonderful bed linens. Room size was just right. AC quiet and excellent. Roof top a very nice bonus.
“Enjoyable experience.”
The Omni Royale is a charming older hotel well located in the French Quarter. Our room was small but both the shower and the mattress were terrific. The staff is friendly and attentive. We had a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
“Great location and service.”
Great and accommodating staff. Wonderful location. The rooftop pool provides a great view of the French Quarter and Mississippi river.
“What a great place in the Big Easy”
We were in a petite queen room, and it was, as advertised, PETITE. The biggest difficulty was that it was grossly overfurnished for it's size: a queen bed, two nightstands and a huge armoire in the corner that both blocked the window and also access from that side of the bed. These were minor issues for us, though, and the location was the best possible - right in the heart of the French Quarter and within walking distance of EVERYTHING. I stayed at the Royal Orleans as a child and stay there everytime I return to New Orleans.
“Great New Orleans hotel”
Very plaesant stay. Great staff, nice room. Graet location for the French Quarter
“Beautiful hotel in a great location...”
I love the location and ambience of the Royal Orleans. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Having stayed at the hotel in the past and been given a very small room we requested a premier king and it was a much larger room with a nice view of St. Louis St. We also had a very good dinner at the hotel's restaurant, The Rib Room. Once again the food quality was excellent with very attentive service. i would definitely reccommend staying at The Royal Orleans.
“great hotel”
