“Great French Quarter experience”
This is a great place to stay in the French Quarter. You are with in walking distance of everything, but far enough that you should be able to sleep at night. (That is if you choose to sleep at night. I think most of the sleeping is done in the early morning hours) They offer valet parking for $30 per night which is well worth the cost. The room and bathroom was very clean. It was a small room, but we only needed a place to crash.
“Nice location, nice place, totally repeatable.”
This hotel was charming, the staff was friendly, and the room was nice. I could hear the people in the hall, but honestly that was more about manners in young men then the hotel. The breakfast was nice, but warning they do like their nutmeg. The location was fabulous. Surounded by nice food, close enough to Canal to catch streetcars if you want, and yet close enough to cut through the quarter from the French Market.
“Would definitely recommend!! Amazing Place!!!”
Best place, hands down I have ever stayed in New Orleans. Building is charming, elegant, and in the perfect location. Literally right down the street from Bourbon Street. ould not have asked for a better stay!!
“Fantastic location”
This place was great and so was the location! Miss Ava at the front desk was so helpful too! Rooms were small but you are right off bourbon st so it is fine.
“Close to the Action”
This is the fourth time I have stayed at Prince Conti. Each time has been an enjoyable experience. The staff is willing to help find places in the city and even call to get the hours of operation. The hotel is very quaint and located in a great location, within walking distance to French Quarter, French Market, the River, Jackson Square, yet quiet at night so there were no loud noises to keep us up. This is one of my favorite hotels in New Orleans.
“Would Stay Again!”
We were super impressed with the Prince Conti Hotel. To start, it couldn't be in a more perfect location. 2 blocks off Bourbon street and just a few blocks from Canal, it's extremely convenient to the French Quarter as well as the street cars for travel into Uptown. Being as close as it is to Bourbon, I worried that noise would be a problem, but it wasn't at all! Upon check-in, the front desk clerk and valet were both very friendly and helpful. Almost every hotel in NOLA charges a parking fee, and having stayed all over the French Quarter I was prepared for the $28/day parking fee, and happy to pay it knowing my car would be protected in a private lot. We were told our room was located in the "former slave quarters" which concerned us initially, but upon being shown our room, we were pleasantly surprised and thrilled with it! Our room was on entire floor of the hotel's secondary building, which meant climbing 2 flights of stairs, but was well worth the climb. The room was HUGE, with comfortable bedding, tons of space, and a very large bathroom with bathtub/shower combo and plenty of room for us both to use the vanity. The only issue with the bathroom was that the A/C unit was in the room, far from the bathroom, meaning no air really made it into the bathroom. A tad warm in there, but the room was always cool. The room was also well decorated and had tons of charm. Didn't try the breakfast...in NOLA, you go out for breakfast! (At Brennan's!) Loved it and would stay again!
“Highly recommend”
We just got back from this Hotel, and we would recommend it for a short stay. It was very quaint and great atmosphere! The staff was nice, and answered any questions that we had about New Orleans. It's a perfect spot if you are wanting to takein Bourbon Street, and walk to several other places.
“Good hotel right off Bourbon Street”
The hotel is 1/2 a block from Bourbon St, so you don't hear the noise of everyone partying, but your still so close. We were in a separate free standing wing. The room was a really good size, but was up against another street. Every morning at 6am, the trash truck came by & woke us up! The hotel has a very cool bar/restaurant called the Elephant Room. Looks like a library. It was a more mature crowd but really good martini's. For breakfast we used to love Petunia's... but they closed. They re-opened inside another restaurant on Conti just on the other side of Bourbon. The name has the word Blue in it. Ask the front desk since they're the ones that told us about it. Aamazing crepes and food.
“Nice, clean hotel; great location”
The Prince Conti is located just a half block from Bourbon Street - close to the action but still very quiet. There was a nice German coffee shop just across the street. The room was your basic hotel room; nothing special, but very clean. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. They made many good suggestions for restaurants. On-site parking was convenient, but expensive ($25/day - probably about average for the French Quarter).
“1st Visit to NOLA”
I thought the hotel was charming & comfortable for 2 female friends to spend one night. The room was small and the bathroom was very limited in space to put your toiletries but it was fine for what we needed. The location was perfect for us, 100' to Bourbon St. so we loved it. The lady at the front desk was very helpful & friendly. We didn't stay for the breakfast so I can't comment on that. Our room was all the way in the back and the scenery was just of a tin roof next door but it was quiet & comfortable. The streets in New Orleans are pretty horrible to get around in, more like alleyways and very lacking in street signs. You have to turn into a very narrow driveway to go to the Valet parking area and that was a bit confusing. For the price we paid, it was wonderful and I would stay there again!!
