“It was the best location and can't wait to go back next year.”
It was the best location and can't wait to go back next year.
“very nice”
the hotel and staff was very nice and catered to my needs when requested. the location was awesome so close to everything you need and want to do in new orleans.
“Couldn't have asked for more”
-Clean -Beds were unbelievably comfortable -Great view of French Quarter -Great pool -Friendly staff -Elevators are kind of tricky and inconvenient though -Free Wi-Fi only in lobby which was annoying
“Will definitely go back”
We had a great time in New Orleans! Since it was our first time there, we didn't know what to expect. The hotel is in a great location with a great view. It's right at the corner of the French Quarter and 2 blocks down from Bourbon St. Everything was in walking distance. The room was a nice size and the beds very comfortable. The staff were all friendly and helpful, especially the concierge. We'll definitely go back and stay at the Sheraton again.
“Excellent for a weekend trip!”
This hotel was great! It was a great place to stay for the weekend. The elevators were a little confusing at first but after seeing someone else work it we had no problem from that point forward. It was a conveint location, cozy beds, it was a but crowded but there must have been a wedding because there was a lot of formal wear from other guest. Overall, my friends and I had a great time. We will for sure be staying there again. We also felt safe walking from Bourbon back to the hotel.
“Wonderful stay!”
Wonderful hotel in a perfect location! Just blocks from the French quarter and blocks from the river front and Harrah's casino. Had a great stay over the Memorial holiday weekend!
“"Hip's Hot Spot"”
The over all stay was excellent. I would like to have softer pillows when we go back to stay again.
“can't wait for my next trip”
Excellent
“Southern Decadence Fun!”
My room was everything I expect from a good hotel.. roomy with a HUGE comfortable bed, a sitting area and an office area.. all that plus a floor to ceiling window overlooking Canal Street which was beautiful at night. The one thing I was a bit disappointed was the pool. not only it was closed for maintenance for half of my stay - though they offer us guests to use the nearby W hotel's pool - but I found it quite small.. Another thing it bothered me was to have to pay to use wireless internet in my room - though it was free access on the lobby.. on another note though, I thought it is great that they offer you a $5 voucher to be used at the hotel Starbuck's - which closed at 11am - VERY annoying, as I was on vacation and never up and out of my room by them - or bars if you skipped housekeeping for the day.. which worked perfect for me.. so I pretty much got a bunch of $5 vouchers for a thing I usually do anyway - do skip housekeeping for a couple days people!! I also enjoyed that the hotel was in between the French Quarter and the Warehouse District, with fun Magazine Street and its delicious restaurants.. Overall I was very pleased with my Sheraton experience and can't wait to get back there.. the only thing I may consider for next year is to be a bit closer to the gay area on the other end of the French Quarter.. although the 15-20 minutes walk to the bars never bothered me, it would be a bit more convenient to be closer to the action during Southern Decadence..
“Made my stay comfortable”
I love the view from the high floor, everything was clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay again, it made my first trip to New Orleans a great one!
