Affinia Manhattan offers 616 residential-style guest suites in a 28-story building. Bedding includes pillowtop mattresses, down comforters, red throw pillows, and down pillows plus three-choice pillow menus. Fully equipped kitchens contain four-burner ranges, microwaves, and full-sized refrigerators.
Desks come with padded ergonomic chairs, task lights, and high-speed Internet connections (surcharges). Other amenities include two dual-line phones (one cordless) and upholstered armchairs with ottomans. Small bathrooms have shower/tubs or stall showers without tubs, and Aveda toiletries. Televisions offer pay movies, video games (surcharges), video check-out, and Internet access (surcharge) via wireless keyboards.

Recreation
Central Park, 1.5 miles north of Affinia Manhattan, offers a variety of recreational opportunities, including ball fields, tennis courts, rowboat rentals, horseback riding, and miles of trails for hiking, biking, running, and in-line skating. Rockefeller Center's skating rink, 1 mile away, opens in winter, as does Central Park's Wollman Rink. A golf driving range is located at Chelsea Piers 1 mile west of the hotel. Neighborhood athletic clubs offer racquet sports, exercise classes, and swimming pools.

“Great experience at the Affinia Manhattan”
Loved our room at Afinia!! We had a room on the 28 floor with a great view of Empire State Building and city. Check in was a breeze and Jeanna really hooked us up with an upgrade. The concierge desk was alot of help too. Very nice hotel centrally located in Manhattan with all the sites at your fingertips. Would definatly stay there again or recommend to any firends and family going to New York City!!!
“The price is RIGHT!”
Affinia was everything we were looking for. Arrived around noon, knowing that our check-in time was 3 p.m, but hotel staff gave us an upgrade free of charge and we were able to go to our room shortly after noon. There was a five hour gap between check-out time and our train departure. Hotel staff held our luggage for a very small fee.... We will be back soon! Thanks Affinia Manhattan!!!
“Area gem”
Best hotel in the area. Rooms were clean and as roomy as it gets in NYC without totally blowing the budget. If you need to be in this part of town, you can't beat the Affinia for convenience and quality
“Brilliant trip, great hotel.”
Our room was on the 5th Floor and there was a bit of street noise, however we did expect that - this is a lively, happening city and it did not disrupt our sleeping. Other family members were based on the 27th floor and they could hear very little. The rooms were clean (very important) and had lots of space as there were 4 of us (2 adults and 2 teenage boys) in our room. Overall I would definitely chose to stay in this hotel again when we go back.
“Great Experience; would definitely recommend.”
Not only did we receive an early check-in, but were upgrade to a suite with a balcony overlooking the NYC skyline!! It is directly across from MSG and walking distance from Times Square, Empire State, and much more. Compared most other hotels I shopped, this was by far the best value. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. The only issue(if you can call it a real issue) is the bathroom counter space is a bit small.

“A great and convenient place to stay”
We got off Amtrak at Penn Station and the Affinia is across the street. Perfectly situated for our family, great room, great staff, we'll go back for sure!

“A great stay at the Affinia Manhattan”
The Affinia Manhattan is a basic hotel done exceptionally well. Our deluxe double room was spacious and very clean. We had two bathrooms and a kitchenette. The breakfast buffet at the hotel's restaurant, Niles, was real value for money and of a very high standard. All of the staff we had dealings with were very helpful, friendly and always accommodating. The noise from the street cannot be avoided as the hotel is located in the heart of the city, our room was on the 26th floor but heard all the emergency sirens through the night.
