“Perfect!!!”
Everything was perfect, but the subway is 3 LONG blocks from the hotel. If you want a hotel near Time Square, this isn't it. Time Square is 2-3 stops from subway station near hotel and almost $10 to take the Taxi. And one more thing everything cost, even continental breakfast is $11. So ask before using anything in hotel.
“Vacation for my sister.”
I booked this room for my sister while she was on a trip to New York. This is the email reply I received. Well the only thing I can say is thank you thank you thank you. The hotel was absolutely wonderful. the staff was great, the room was amazing, the view was breathtaking. It was in the perfect location being only one mile here two miles there. We walked everywhere!!!! I guess I did good.
“Very clean and comfortable”
For the price you cannot beat it....I stayed here overnight with my parents to be at Sloan Kettering hospital very early the next morning. The view was fantastic and the bed was very comfortable. Would highly recommend this hotel.
“Very good hotel option for Manhattan”
Location is great, not exactly in the heart of Manhattan but not too far from the subway. The Upper East Side neighbourhood is nice, with great shopping on nearby Lexington and good restaurant/pub options on 1st Ave. Staff were friendly and responsive, and the room was great. The only drawbacks were the slow elevators (wait time feels like 1-2 minutes at times); bath/sink plugs needed fixing to drain better; and the toilet needed a new part because the water kept running unless you lifted the top off and moved the rubber plug thing manually. Overall a good value for NYC, and I would not hesitate to stay there again.
“Would stay here again!”
Great bargain. Clean; perfectly nice hotel; great view of the 59th Street bridge and cityscape; comfortable bed and room; safe; not a luxury hotel or a midtown location if that's what you're looking for, but very nice for my purposes, and I used to live in the city, so I liked the neighborhood location on the upper East Side near where I used to live. No problems or dissatisfaction at all. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Would definitely stay here again.
“Night away from home”
My boyfriend and I are New Yorkers. To celebrate his birthday, I got a room for a night just to get away from our apt. The room was excellent and the hotel was very quiet. Felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. The location is a bit off, so if you are a tourist, you might not enjoy this as much. But for those who just need to get away for the night or are on a business trip, its excellent. Love the contemporary furniture as well. Very clean lined presentation. Can't complain about the price either.
“Would stay there again”
This was a great expedia value. The price was unbeatable for New York. It is close to Weill Cornell for medical visits. The roof top restuarant was very nice and had a great skyline view and view of the Roosevelt bridge and tram. Check it out.
“Very impressive.”
First class hotel. (check out the shower!) Professional and courteous staff. Great location. Great experience. Highly recommended.
“good value”
my three-generation family enjoyed the rooftop restaurant for its views, evening drinks, and great breakfasts.
“Overnight Stay”
My wife stayed here overnight while while i had surgery at Hospital for Special Surgery, it was 8 blocks from the hospital and there is a parking garage there. She said the room was very nice and had a beautiful view.

Upper East Side, New York, United States of America: Of all the superlatives used to describe the Upper East Side, one word is apt: richest. Some of the citys wealthiest residents live in the high rises that line Fifth Avenue. Be prepared to spend an entire day at the Museum of Metropolitan Art. Both a physical and art-world behemoth, the Met is home to several masterworks, from an intact ancient Nubian temple to post-modern color studies.
