“Enjoyable stay!”

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, not the biggest room I've ever stayed in but big enough for one person and would be sufficient enough for two people. I would stay here again.

“Great service, located in downtown Manhattan”

Highly satisfying stay. The hotel isn't in the most central (tourist/business) part of Manhattan, but is only a 5 minute walk to the Subway and then a 10 minute ride to the main attractions. Service was perfect. The only gripe we had was with the taxi service which the hotel recommended and rang for. The driver who turned up spoke hardly any English, and didn't know the destination we required - "The Rockefeller Center". Just about the tallest and best known building in New York with a world famous Christmas tree and Ice Rink, but our driver had never heard of it and didn't know where it was. He eventually found it after liaising with his base, and then charged us an extortionate rate for his ridiculously long route to it. Our cautionary note to future guests is to make sure your taxi driver knows where he's going before he agrees to take you there! Not sure I can really blame the hotel for this blemish on our stay, but I think it's worth pointing out if it helps others from suffering the same misfortune. We noted that there was a nearby Yellow Cab taxi-rank outside the East Broadway Subway Station, just 5 minutes walk away. Far more reasonable rates and reliable drivers. The hotel is situated in the 'Chinatown' area, close to a lively shopping area.

Convenient location, great customer service and value, definitely will come back next time on every NY trip! BTW, they also have the discount for the parking lot in the neighborhood.

“Perfect choice for a more affordable stay in NY”

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel very much. Traveling alone, I felt safe with the location of the hotel. The hotel is right in Chinatown with all the typical shopping and food options. Also, its just a few blocks (about 4) away from little Italy with more typical shopping (scarves, ny "stuff", etc') and lots of Italian food. I took the Chinatown bus from DC which stops just 3 blocks away from the hotel. The subway is just a couple blocks from the hotel and a few stops from Times Sq and all that. So, great service at the hotel, 24 hours at the desk, free internet at the reception, great location, and the price is cheaper than most offers I had seen for this type of accomodations. “The Low's NYC 2010”

As this was our first visit to NYC we based our accommodation choice on previous reviews of the hotel and were pleased to find the hotel met our expectations. The room was very well appointed (although a step ladder would have been handy when getting into bed!) and the bathroom was clean and fresh. The breakfast was basic but still more than acceptable as a freebie! The staff were helpful with directions to subway stations and when ordering cabs with upfront fixed rates for differerent destinations i.e. $59 from hotel to JFK. We would definitely stay at the Comfort Inn again.

“An Oasis... in a City of Chaos”

Wonderful Hotel! The rooms were clean and the staff was very nice and accomadating. Pretty good location and neighborhood, near many subway lines. I am an experienced traveler and the overall experience at this hotel was much better then expected. Even though this hotel is only 2 Stars, it was a Five Star experience.

Close to China Town, Clean and convenient. The Lobby and neighborhood is not that great, but room is neat considering New York City.

All was arranged by a friend prior to my arrival. Everything expected was provided. Cost high but everything in New York City is. Would stay there again when on business.
