“My New Favorite”
Beautiful neighborhood, nice shops nearby, subway station right across the street. Delicious deli for pizza and cheesecakes. I only wish I had stayed there earlier. I go to NYC every month and will stay there from now on. the only thing was that the room was too cold,but that was the only drawback.

exploring NYC and needed a safe place in a wonderful neighborhood - - I am in love with the Upper West Side now that I've had the Days experience. small as expected; but I'll call it cozy. and the greatest deli on 96th....

The hotel ia confortable, it has all required facilities for private and business travelers,complimentary wireless internet is a graet advantage.The room is cosey and well maintained.

Nice, clean hotel. Close to everything. Very quiet in the rooms, wouldn't know you were in NY.
“GREAT LOCATION-- Would stay @ Days Hotel anytime when in NYC”
Days Hotel is near 1,2&3 Subways--Which gets you within walking of all NYC areas .HINT-- Great to go on line from home and print areas you want to see and get directions from Hotel by Subway-Saves time and you see more of NYC. The Days Hotel is not for people that are used to Top Hotels with all the amenties but are reasonable priced and the rooms are comfortable.The King bed is not a standard King .Area has a nice Ice Cream Parlor, Bakery & Carmels Italian Restaurant around 90th street has a dining room upstairs--Great Food & Prices.The people in NYC area very helpful & make you feel welcome- so ask for direction from any person-- A-ONE to the citiizans of NYC--Enjoy NYC-- My wife and I stayed 7 nights and had a great time.

We stayed at the Days Hotel on Broadway and was very please with the hotel and it's staff.
“Surprising pleasant!”
This hotel reminded me and my companion of the hotels you might find in Italy. It must have been an apartment building turned hotel. Don't let the small lobby and shabby hallways fool you. The room we had was HUGE and the bathroom was really quite nice. For a quick stay in NYC - can't beat it. It isn't really near main attractions, but will definitely consider staying here again.
“Great Good Value”
It was a very large room and the bathroom was gargantuan for NYC. The building was really cool and not plain like you expect a days inn to be at all. Good location walking distance to the park and subway. Friendly staff at all hours of the day and night. Ultra comfortable bed
“Not the Ritz, but good for the price!”
Good location, very close to subway station. Many restaurants/shops/drug stores within walking distance. Room was clean, no roaches, bugs or anything like that. Yes, the room was small, but that shouldn't matter if you're actually out seeing New York. Perfect room to take a shower in and sleep in. Elevator was small and really slow, which was annoying, but I'd rather pay the low price than have a spacious, super speed elevator in a more expensive hotel. Walking distance to Central Park, Metropolitan Museum of Art, Guggenheim Museum, and many other attractions. Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island is one quick subway ride away. Staff was okay. Check in lady carried on a phone conversation while she checked me in, and they wouldn't call me a cab when leaving (told me to go outside and hail one), but again, for the price, you can't complain. Private bathroom and NOT hostel style like many other "hotels" in this price range. Maids cleaned everyday and everything was in place when we got back to our room each night. Didn't bring laptops (used cell phones for internet) so can't comment on the internet connection/lack thereof. Lobby has some comfortable chairs, too. We stayed in the non-smoking King and loved it. Extremely comfortable bed, lots of pillows. Coffee/hair dryers in room. Good bagel place and sushi across the street, good ice cream around the corner. The hotel is old, but it's great for the price. No real complaints. Surrounding neighborhood okay, a few rough people around.

I would recommend it to anyone who wants to go to NYC and can’t afford a luxurious hotel.
