“Great Stay In Brooklyn”
I got in a little before midnight. The Check in process was quick and painless. Literally on my way up to my room Less than 5 minutes after arriving. The front desk was very helpful recommending local eating spots and night life in the area they even provided directions. The room was perfect. I had a queen bed with a flat screen TV and a pretty big shower. All in all I had a great stay and would definitely look into staying at the Days Inn Brooklyn again in the future.
“Great place if you can stay outside Manhattan”
It's literally a "Days Inn" and all that entails, while being just a short subway ride into Manhattan. If you can negeotiate the subway system (easy), it's a great way to avoid the crazy rates of lesser hotels in Manhattan.
“Very Nice for the price...”
Very nice for the price, a little small but very clean. Parking was very limited.
“Good Value”
Hotel is very close to subway. Room was small but if youre only sleeping there then its fine. It was clean and the free breakfast was very good, and kept well stocked. Parking is minimal and first come first served, but great value for the location. If staying there take the subway to coney island! its AMAZING!!!

The hotel is basic, which is all I was concerned with this trip. The room was small, but neat and clean. The bathroom had a great soaking tub. Nice and quiet hotel; however, the subway/train runs right next to it, so you will be lulled to sleep or kept awake, depending on your noise tolerance. Only 3 short blocks from the 36th St station, then a quick ride back into Manhattan. I would definitely stay here again as it suited my needs and was convenient.
“Spotless clean & quiet”
Hotel was clean quiet and comfortable. rooms are small. diner at corner of block open 24 hrs. 3 blocks from subway station. felt totaly safe walking even at 2am.very enjoyable stay. able to use subway to visit coney island,empire state bldg,museum of history,central park,ground zero,brooklyn botanical gardens,Rockerfeller center,time square,and numerous other areas...GREAT
“Great Stay”
The hotel was nice, we arrived 3hrs before check in time and they said they had our room done and allowed us to check in. The room was small but very clean.Very friendly service and staff. They have breakfast in the morning of your typical fruit,donuts and coffee and newspaper which is nice.
“Very convenient and clean”
We were staying there over the Christmas holidays and we were pleasantly surprised. Although the room was small, it was clean. When we needed something from the front desk, it was delivered in under 5 minutes. The location was great and only about 2.5 blocks to the subway.
“Small, inexpensive alternative to Manhattan”
I travel to NYC a lot for business so I've stayed at many different hotels. I chose this one for its cheaper price than most Manhattan hotels since I was only staying for a couple of nights. The staff was very friendly...the rooms were small, but very clean...and its location was very close to a subway that takes you into Manhattan. The area its in seemed very safe to me, so I dont know why anyone would say its not. I was able to walk to and from the hotel to the train at all hours of the day and night and feel very safe. The only thing I would mention is if you are driving, I wouldnt choose this hotel. They have only three spots in front of their small front entrance. In fact, as I was checking out, a woman was arguing on the phone with their corproate office about getting a refund since there was nowhere to park. I flew into town, so didnt have this problem...but if I would have driven, it might have been a different story. Other than that, it was a great stay!
