Recreation
Central Park, 12 blocks north, offers a variety of recreational opportunities, including ball fields, tennis courts, rowboat rentals, horseback riding, and miles of trails for hiking, biking, running, and in-line skating. Rockefeller Center's famed skating rink, two blocks away, opens in winter, as does Central Park's Wollman Rink.

“Best Bang for the Buck!!”
We travel to New York City every year as a family tradition. We have stayed at a different hotel every time and I can honestly say that the rooms were the most spacious we have ever seen. You were also in Times Square, which was conveniently located to everything in walking distance from the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit the Big Apple.
“Hotel in the heart of Time Square”
Excellent choice if you want to be in thei middle of the action. Hotel service was excellent, room and bed were comfortable. Hop on Hop off bus picks up and drops off across the road which takes you to uptown, downtown tourist points as well a tour around Brooklyn. Easy walk to Central Park and Rockefeller Centre. Would definitely stay again
“Great Location!!”
Excellent location in the middle of Times Square - walking distance to a lot of the major attractions in the City. Despite it being incredibly busy outside, the hotel was quiet and well kept. Rooms were spacious and clean and the overall standard of the facilities was 1st class. The only criticisms I have were that the air-con was very noisy and another would be that the staff on the concierge desk are quite pushy and looking to sell to you rather than help -overall though I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone!
“Good Times in Times Square!”
From the efficient greeting of the valet, the warm greeting at the front desk to the comfort of the beds, our recent stay exceeded our expectations.
“Great place to sleep, don't drink the coffee!”
Great location and exremely friendly and helpful staff. The only downside was the restaurant prices. $27.99 for a mediocre breakfast buffet was ridiculous. Ordered off the menu instead and then had to pay $5.00 for a cup of coffee. Next time will stay there but go next door to McDonald's for breakfast.

I ENJOYED MY STAY IN THE DOUBLETREE ON TIMESQUARE WONDERFUL VIEW OF THE CITY MY KIDS REALLY ENJOYED THE ARRIVAL GIFT THEY ARE STILL TALKING ABOUT IT. I APPRECIATED THE STAFF ASSISTING WITH TAXI RIDES AND THE WARM WELCOMING AT CHECK IN
“Excellent Hotel!!”
Excellent location, rooms and service. The hotel would benefit from a free, or at least cheaper, wi-fi service - but this is only a very minor complaint. Very highly recommended!
“Amazing hotel!”
This hotel is amazing! We stayed at the DoubleTree from 13th to 17th February. The service is fantastic. Two of the desk staff in particular were extremely helpful and kind throughout our time there (Michael and "Sheriff Daniel"). It's right in the heart of everything. Situated in Times Square, you walk out the doors of the hotel and you're straight in the thick of it. There's subway stations all round (within a five minute walk) to get you anywhere else in the city you want to go. It's also real close to Central Park and many other sites. The hotel was clean, spacious and our view was amazing (we were on the 39th floor). Me and my partner got engaged while we were there and the staff were fantastic by putting champagne in our room (thanks Sheriff!!!) It made the whole day unbelievably special. The staff continued to make us feel special by congratulating us and generally being welcoming and friendly. The room had all the amenities we would want and more: microwave, fridge, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would hope to go back again one day. Perfect! Stay at the DoubleTree if you want a fantastic New York experience.

“Best for the money”
This was our first trip to NYC and was extremely satisfied with Double Tree Suites. It was recommended to us by many of our friends and thank God we listened. The hotel is in a superb location and within walking distance to many great restaurants, shopping, etc. The staff was very courteous and helpful with answering our questions. We will definitely stay at the Double Tree on our next visit.
