“Great hotel”
hotel was in a great location , food and service .
“prime location.”
Perfect location. Just steps away from rockefeller and times square. This was my second stay at the hilton and will stay there for my next visit.
“Great Location”
Location is really great. The hotel is just one block from MOMA and two blocks from Rockefeller Center. There are some really nice restaurants nearby including the Russian Tea Room. The hotel does lack a cafe or family dining room for unwinding at the end of the day. The lobby needs to be upgraded so it it is not so cold and unwelcoming. It is set up for business and it is not cozy. They need some chairs or benches in the lobby for meeting and greeting. The staff and concierges are all really nice and friendly. Also, they need to put coffee makers back into the rooms. Not everyone wants to go to Starbucks every morning for coffee. But the best thing about this hotel is the location and the staff.
“Quick, fun trip that was worth it.”
I had tickets for Radio City Music Hall and after a long day at work wanted to stay overnight after the concert. We were able to check in quickly and get to the concert that was steps away. The room was comfy, spacious. Only complaint was that the in-room refrig. was not working. As a response, the sodas we took were not charged on the bill. A little thing but nice. The location was worth it and we awoke to a street fair which was an added bonus. Starbucks accross the street for breakfast. Would go back in a heartbeat.
“Excellent location.”
Very clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. Our second stay at this hotel and will definitely go back. Great service. Had a problem with the safe in the room and response time to correct it was under five minutes.
“Hilton is New York is great”
Do not hesitate to go to the Hilton. I have stayed at some of the big hotels on Times Square before, but will go to the Hilton from now on. It is farther away, but the short walk is worth it. Beds are really comfortable.
“Convenient and Comfortable Hotel”
We were pleasantly surprised at how close the Hilton was to so many New York sites. My family of 4 stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the helpful staff who gave us plenty of advice and directions. We walked to Central Park, Time Square, the NBC studios, The Lion King Musical on Broadway and the MOMA. When we couldn't walk, the subway was convenient to our hotel. Since there were 4 of us, we found the shorter trips were cheaper to go by taxi. I would definitly stay at the Hilton again on my next visit to New York.
“Would stay again”
Room was stylishly decorated, clean, comfortable and roomy (the room size is a bonus since it sounds like most hotel rooms in Manhattan are pretty small). Location was very convenient to walk to Times Square and many other locations. The Starbucks in the hotel doesn't stay open late and is pretty small but convenient for a quick breakfast. The best food is the Halal street vendor that shows up at about 7:00 pm at the SW corner of 53rd and 6th which is just outside of the hotel. $6.00 gets you a great meal. Be prepared to wait in line though since this vendor is very popular with those who know. A classy hotel in a convenient location.
“great location. walking distance to many sites”
hotel is in the heart of many NY sites
“Great place to stay”
This Hotel is in a great location. The staff was very friendly. I plan on staying there every time I go to NYC.
