We stayed 3 nights. Staff was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. The room was a little small with no view...and quiet as a result of being not being on the street (NYC is alive and noisy 24/7). Size was adequate, especially since we were out all day and not entertaining or working on site. Linens, towels, bathrobes and soaps were first rate. Location is about 20 min walk away from Broadway and Times Sq, and a couple of min from subway. It's not the Pierre, but at a much lower price. My wife was happy with the room, which made for a happy little vacation. We would definitely stay at the Chandler again

You can spend an age looking for the right hotel and with such a choice in New York it can be off putting. This hotel is a perfect choice. Superb location and a very comfy room after a days sightseeing or shopping. Our room had a comfy bed and plenty of hot water for a lovely bath. Free tea and coffee and internet access are a real bonus. Very helpful staff and a barman who can make any cocktail you like, great for a early evening drink or a nightcap.
“Nice little hotel in Manhattan”
I was in Manhattan for business, working nights and sleeping during the day. My room was on the street (31st), and was still very quiet. The room was very small, but modern and sufficient for one. I did not expect any better for the low price and the Manhattan location. The bed, linens, and pillows were extremely comfortable. The staff were professional and friendly, and it was a pleasure to walk into the lovely lobby. I will definately stay here again.
