“A beautiful, personalized, boutique hotel for anyone who likes a bit of style.”
The Hudson was recommended to us by family members and we were not disappointed. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was beautiful and clean, the community areas were fabulous. We will surely be staying at The Hudson again when we return to New York.
“one of my favorite hotels when I'm in NYC”
I think this hotel has a very cool feel about it. The lobby is fabulous - a green tree-house effect. A perfect soothing entrance after the hub-bub of the City. The rooms are very small but efficient and a chic feel to them.
“trendy hotel”
Great location
“Funky, Chic, and practical”
excellent place to stay.
“Very very pleased.”
I picked the Hudson as part of a travel package to NYC, where I went to enjoy an opera. My room was described as a "petite single", and, from reading other reviews, I was somewhat concerned about the comfort of such a small room. Not to worry. The hotel is beautifully decorated (it suited my taste perfectly), the room was defintely small but very comfortable for one person. Staff were smiling, friendly, and very helpful. You couldn't beat the location if your plans include Lincoln Center. I would definitely recommend it.
“Great Location, Stylish Environment”
Lovely hotel with well laid out rooms - Philippe Starck at his best. The music from the nightclub at lobby level continues into the wee hours - so be sure to ask for a higher floor, if you are a light sleeper. Bars and Breakfast room are fabulous. Stones throw from Columbus Circle - easy access to everything.
“small but fabulous!”
Great atmosphere, very trendy and loved walking past the queue of people to get straight into the fabulous bar on the saturday night! It is well placed for 5th Ave and the park, Moma etc.
“Great hotel if you can get a deal.”
For avNew York hotel it has a very fun, resorty feel. The perfect place to stay if you have little time and need/want to meet up with friends or clients for a drink. The terrace and sky lounge are beautiful and so convenient. I wouldn't recommend it for business travel as there doesn't seem to be anywhere to sit quietly and work.
“Comfortable Hotel”
Rooms are small, but the restaurant and bars are nice.
“worth it.”
The staff is extremely helpful and do everything possible to help you feel more than welcome. I stay here every time I visit New York, knowing I will have nothing to worry about and will enjoy my experience.
