Rising 33 stories just off Broadway, this New York hotel is within one block of the Neil Simon Theater, Gershwin Theater, Winter Garden, Ed Sullivan Theater, and Radio City Music Hall. Rockefeller Center is two blocks east. Central Park is seven blocks north.
The Novotel's dedicated concierge desk assists with show tickets, city tours, and myriad other activities. A small Kids' Corner just off the lobby includes a TV and a selection of children's movies.
The 24-hour fitness center provides complimentary energy bars and fruit.
Self parking is available at an independently-operated garage less than a half-block from the hotel (surcharge).

Guestrooms at this New York City hotel are located on the eighth floor and above. Soundproofed windows open and provide impressive views of Broadway, Times Square, or the Hudson River.
Wireless Internet access is available for a surcharge. 32-inch, flat-screen TVs have cable programming, including ESPN, and pay movies. All rooms have duvets, minibars, in-room safes, and city views.

Café Nicole - Spacious, two-level restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Times Square and Theater District. American favorites, including wide selection of seafood. Classic New York desserts such as Carnegie Cheesecake and "The Big Apple" pie. Open daily for full American buffet breakfast, and à la carte lunch and dinner. Outdoor seating on heated Sky Deck facing the bright lights of Broadway.
Broadway Lounge - Located off lobby. Dramatic cobalt-blue, floor-to-ceiling curtains. Wine, beer, cocktails, light fare. Open nightly.
Recreation
The Novotel New York - Times Square's 24-hour fitness center offers treadmills, exercise bikes, stair machines, and weight machines, as well as TVs, a scale, and complimentary fresh fruit and energy bars.
Central Park, seven blocks north, encompasses 843 acres of meadows, woods, cliffs, ravines, gardens, paths, and lakes in an emerald setting. Popular walking and running routes include Central Park Drive (closed to traffic during scheduled hours) and the path around the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir. The Loeb Boathouse, on a 20-acre lake, offers rowboat and bicycle rentals. With the famous Christmas tree sparkling above it, the Rink at Rockefeller Plaza—two blocks from the Novotel—is a special treat during the winter holiday season.

“Great Location but Needs Better Management”
Check-in 3pm - were not able to get to rooms before 5:30pm - due to late checkouts being allowed to all the airline staff -- being a Saturday night the hotel was fully booked, we count ourselves lucky - people arriving at 6pm when we were heading out were being told they had a good 1 hour wait, and some of those were going to the theatre. There were three couples in our party, two of the rooms were clean at 5pm, unfortunately our room was a mess and we had to wait a further 20 mins for them to locate a clean room, with a kingsize bed as I had requested and paid for in advance. On the plus side this is a great location, with a fabulous view of Times Square from our rooms and the veranda outside the bar/restaurant. We have stayed there a couple of times before, when showing NY to family and friends, and fully recommend the hotel, they just need to get their priorities right to all the customers not just to the flight staff

Excellent location, lovely rooms and views. Very good value. Can't be faulted. Good choice for families, couples or business travellers.

Good location for all of midtown and lower manhattan we walked every where as the weather was outstanding, but the cab rides were great and the buses excellent good views from our room good accomodation and helpful staff.

“Excellent location”
I stayed at the Novotel Hotel this past weekend and loved it. I have no complaints at all. The location is excellent and the room was very clean and comfortable. Very close to broadway shows and Times Square.
“Novotel Hotel is Fantastic!!!”
This is my 4th time in New York City and have been to various hotels. Novotel is by far the best hotel I have stayed in. Rooms were excellent and cleaned everyday. Hotel bar and lobby was very nice especially the outdoor patio area, very nice for drinks on a good evening. I would definitely go back and stay again.
“Good hotel, great location”
This hotel was well worth the money, it was in a great location just a couple of blocks from Times Square itself and only a few blocks from most other central manhatten attractions. The hotel rooms were spacious and well equipped. We were given a room close to the lifts at first and we asked to be moved due to lift noise, there was no problem and we were given a new room which was just as good. The only small complaint was that there wasn't a huge amount of storage place in the rooms but if your not staying too long then that's no problem. Overall I was very happy with this hotel and would recommend it.

We heard virtualy no street noise from our standard room overlooking Broadway, just blocks from Times Square, and at a fabulous rate. Amazing!
