“Great location, clean rooms, reasonable size in NY”
Incredible location with a great price, the room was clean and nice, not as small as I expected. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful, check in and check out were easy and fast. My only complaint was that I didn't get a soap bar on the third day of my stay which I needed but since I forgot to complain about it I will let it slip. We enjoyed our stay, of course the room is somewhat small and the closet is not huge, but for the price and location it was well worth it. I would call it an honest, dependable 3 star hotel in a great location
“Brilliant hotel”
The hotel was a lot better than I thought it would be. The room was spacious and the hotel is in a great location. Also you get free wifi which is a massive plus as many NY hotels charge for wifi. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
“A superb location”
We spent 3 nights at this hotel and were extremely pleased with our choice. It was in a central location which made it very easy to get to everywhere we wanted to go, both by walking and metro. Grand Central was just up the road where you could get the express trains which we quickly found out about. The hotel was excellent, we had booked bed and breakfast and this was great in Raffles right in the hotel. The rooms were well proportioned, with an enormous bed in one room for 2 of us and a kingsize in another for 1 person. The bedding and furnishings were fresh and inviting, plus there was a large flat screen TV. We found out about the NY Yankees World Series Championship Parade and the USS New York naming from the news which were both exciting things to witness and totally unexpected. By crossing the road and walking straight up 48th Street we were able to get to Maddison Ave (great market on Sunday morning) and 5th Avenue where the shopping was great. Ideal end to a wonderful sightseeing holiday.
“Great Midtown Value for Single Traveler”
Very friendly staff; clean rooms and bathrooms, clean linens, great large HD tv, nice gym with good machines and a decent amount of free weights and other equipment for the moderate exerciser, good location in midtown for those looking for easy access to cabs and subway. Quick walk to Grand Central.
“Excellent location for restaurants of interest on the East Side of Mid-Town NYC”
We were very happy with the hotel and the price was good. It's location was perfect for our needs (near friends and restaurants of interest). We were able to easily walk to sites of interest and subway access was excellent for both the Lexington and E Train lines which were the ones we needed. Our only complaint was that the temperature in the lobby was a trifle too warm for our comfort. The room temperature was adjustable and met our needs. The comforter on the bed was too heavy but we substituted a blanket that worked just fine.
“Value for Money”
Very good rooms , excellent location, great value
“fantastic location and top quality!”
the hotel was situated 2 mins from grand central station and a 5-10 minute walk from times square.upon arrival the staff were very welcoming and helpful.each time i returned to the hotel at the end of the day the staff were always wanting to help in anyway they could, fantastic!! the rooms were very comfortable an extremely clean.all in all an excellent base for a trip to new york!!
“Would recommend”
Loved this hotel! The location was excellent. Staff were accomodating, no wait checking in or out. We stayed on the 19th floor and elevators were fast and readily available. Room was small but had everything we needed. Very quiet. Can't wait to go back.
“Cheap & Chic Hotel”
The Radisson on Lexington Ave was a very convenient hotel. It was right in mid town on (7th and 48th). You have Times Square 5 blocks away, 5th Ave (for shopping and people watching :) ) is 3 or so blocks away, and mid town was a short cab ride down. The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and answered all our questions about the surrounding area and restaurants. It's also RIGHT across the street from Avra--the BEST Greek cuisine! The hotel in all was a very pleasant experience. And it helps that the beds were very comfortable as well! We stayed in the Petit room and it was cute and cozy :) I highly recommend and will be going back to this hotel when I'm staying in New York!
“Love this Place”
Great!!!! I love this hotel, had a lot of special moments here. The staff is great, especially the night manager & the rooms are welcoming. This is the only place we stay when we want some fun & relaxation in the City. They have a nice night club right downstairs and tons of places to eat.
