The Library Hotel is one of New York’s most recognized boutique hotels. It has a signature style of hospitality and value that is unrivaled while providing all of its guests with a unique thought provoking experience. With 60 guest rooms situated on New York’s distinguished and historic Madison Avenue, each of the Library Hotel’s ten guestroom floors is dedicated to one of the ten major categories of the Dewey Decimal System: Social Sciences, Literature, Languages, History, Math & Science, General Knowledge, Technology, Philosophy, The Arts and Religion. Each of the six guestrooms on each floor then corresponds to the floor in which it is located with a particular subject matter in books and art theme.
The Library Hotel also offers its guests elegant and relaxing common areas for one to enjoy throughout their stay. The Reading Room located on the hotel’s second floor offers a respite from the hustle and bustle of the streets with hundreds of books for one to peruse and perhaps select as their book of choice while visiting. In addition one may venture to the hotel’s 14th floor to enjoy the Writer’s Den and the Poetry Garden where one will also find the rooftop bar cleverly named Bookmarks Lounge.
