The Plaza Hotel is located at the meeting point of Fifth Avenue and Central Park South, overlooking the Pulitzer Fountain and Grand Army Plaza. Central Park's emerald expanse is directly across the street. The elite shops of Fifth Avenue and Madison Avenue are within walking distance. Rockefeller Center and the Theater District are about seven blocks south.
Rooms
The Plaza's sumptuously appointed guestrooms are among the largest in New York City. Beds are dressed with luxurious Mascioni linens. All rooms include wall-mounted plasma TVs and writing desks. Mosaic-tiled bathrooms offer designer bath products and plush robes; most have bathtubs and separate showers. In room iPads, Wireless and wired high-speed Internet access are available (surcharge).
Suite accommodations feature personalized butler service.

Oak Room - A New York legend restored to its original grandeur. Oak-paneled room in the German Renaissance style. Opened in 1907 as "The Men's Bar."
Oak Bar - Quintessential Manhattan bar. Club setting with Central Park views, dark-sable oak walls, leather chairs, and the original cityscape murals by Everett Shinn.
The Champagne Bar - The world's finest champagnes served in the afternoon and evening. Freshly baked pastries and extensive array of specialty coffees in the morning. Spectacular setting in The Plaza's new Fifth Avenue lobby. Open daily.
The Rose Club - Located on two levels overlooking the new Fifth Avenue lobby. Cocktails, appetizers, light gourmet fare. Open daily, 11 AM till late evening.
The Palm Court - Open for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea, under the luminous stained glass laylight. An a la carte brunch menu is offered on Sundays. Cocktails and children’s menus are available for special events in the evening.
Recreation
Central Park, across from the hotel, encompasses 843 acres of meadows, woods, cliffs, ravines, gardens, paths, and lakes in an emerald setting. Popular walking and running routes include Central Park Drive (closed to traffic during scheduled hours) and the path around the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir. The Loeb Boathouse, on a picturesque lake, rents rowboats and bicycles. The Wollman Rink offers ice-skating in the winter, the Victorian Gardens Amusement Park during the warmer months, and splendid views of the park and city year-round.

The Caudalie Vinothérapie® Spa at The Plaza features 14 treatment rooms, a Vichy shower, a private VIP room for 2, Vinothérapie® Spa signature barrel bath, 2 Hammans, and an exclusive French Paradox Wine Lounge. Spa treatments include a variety of facials, body scrubs, and massages. Treatments, offering the restorative benefits of grape and grapevine polyphenols, are performed by trained Vinotherapists.

“Luxury at its Finest”
What can you say, it's The Plaza! The staff were very friendly, helpful, and efficient. We arrived at the hotel early fully expecting to have to store our luggage and wait, but instead we were given a room immediately. It's a little pricey obviously, but that is to be expected, and the prices for the room service that I ordered were actually quite comparable to those of the 4 star hotel where we stayed when we began our trip, and the service absolutely blew the service at the other place away. So that being said, if you can afford the price of the room, you won't be disappointed. I mean they provide you with a iPad that controls all of the room functions and let's you surf the web, and there are 24k gold plated faucets and heated tile floors in the bathroom! What else can you say....

“Luxury and Great Value”
Fabulous experience at the Plaza. The staff couldn't do enough for us - and we were only there for one night. A free upgrade to the top floor with a view over Central Park. They organised our reservations at a Downtown restaurant and gave us free use of the Hotel car. Travelled in style and blew us away with their service standards. iPad controls for the room. A bath which you could swim in. Fully equipped bar area with sink etc etc. This cost a bit for my wife's birthday, but we genuinely felt it was value for money (I'm normally quite tight so this is real praise!)
“Wonderful!!”
We had such a brilliant time in New York, made extra, super special by staying in the Plaza. The room was gorgeous, large and spotless and the staff were really helpful and lovely. I would love to go back, this was an anniversary treat so we will need to think up another excuse soon! One tiny thing I would change - we would have liked a kettle in the room! We struggled adjusting from UK time and to have been able to make a cup of tea at 6am would have been nice. We loved the Plaza and would recommend it to everyone.

We stayed at The Plaza for our anniversary and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The room was huge and extremely comfortable. Our room was equipped with a console that allowed us to control most features in the room (e.g. lights, t.v., temperature, etc.) from the comfort of our bed. Our room was refreshed everytime we left so that we always got to come back to a clean room.

One of the finest hotels I have ever had the pleasure to witness. Friendliness of staff, exceptional service, gorgeous room, etc. is why the Plaza remains one of the best hotels in New York. I will be back! Thank you.

The Hotel is as you would imagine from days past, with all updated comforts. The Plaza is elegant and romantic with service that was personable. I would go back to the Plaza any time, and be sure to use the services of the conciegeres their suggestions were awsome!

You are close to everything at the Plaza: Central Park, shopping at all the high end boutiques and Bergdorf, restaurants etc... Came here with my 8 year old daughter and easily went to shows.
