“Couldn't fault it”
Great location, easily walkable for Metro Arena and shopping. 5 mins walk from station. Plenty bars and restaurants nearby and next door Livingroom bar and restaurant was busy even early on week night with excellent food and good service. Would definitely add to my list and visit again.
“A chic place to stay”
This is a really excellent and comfortable hotel. The decor is fresh and modern and provided a relaxing place to stay. Overall the service was excellent but the continental breakfast was a bit disappointing because several items on the menu were not on offer. Overall, however, a really smart place.
“A great place to stay”
A modern hotel fashioned from a mix of Victorian properties, not all on the same level so disabled will need to check the room is suitable for them. Very nicely furnished. The attached 'Living Room' restaurant was marvellous for both breakfast and dinner. the only draw back - close to the clubs so a little noisy on Saturday night.
“Great location for a nite out on the Toon”
Tastefully coverted hotel right in the centre of Newcastle. Great for a nite out but not so good if you wanted an early quiet night in. Best for singles or young couples, not families. Room are thoughtfully decorated in a contemporary style but not particularly large. The price I think is high considering that no breakfast is included.
“Great Location”
A good hotel overall in an excellent location for the city centre. Room was a decent size and well appointed, but the pale carpets were in serious need of a good clean and did not create the first impression that the advertising had led us to expect. Malmaison on the Quayside is a better hotel, but this one has a much better location and overall the location would sway me to go back to Grey Street
“Disappointing!!”
The hotel was very average, I would not stay there again the only redeeming feature was that is was really close to the bars and clubs so we could just stagger back after our night out. The breakfast was also really grim - avoid!.
