“Novotel Nice centre”
Great hotel, great staff, free internet, 10 mins walk to old town. Clean and spacious rooms. Pool was very good, No faults!!
“Little gem with a rooftop pool”
We had a very enjoyable stay. Standard of the hotel was very good and the staff very helpful. The hotel is some distance from the main town centre but is close to the trams and not too far to walk. The pool on the roof though small was a wonderful place to go up to after a hot day sightseeing. We would definately use the hotel again. Everything went according to plan although the traffic and driving in Nice is pretty scary!
“Great place to stay”
Great hotel to stay in. Close to local transport / tram which is very cheap to use. I was a bit disappointed that the hotel bar closed at midnight although this did not spoil a fantastic break.
“excellent value”
Having read various blogs we weren't expecting anything fantastic but we were delighted with the hotel and it was well above expectation. The room was clean, modern and a good size. The bar and restaurant had an outside garden and breakfast and lunch there were way above average. The staff were very friendly. Some blogs had mnentioned the location as being a bit far out, but the tram stop is 100 yards away and it's just 4 stops, for 1 euro, to the old town, and the trams are superb quality ! One evening we strolled back and it took about 15 minutes. We'd definitely stay here again, - great value.

“Xmas 2011 in Nice”
Brilliant hotel, brilliant stay, as many reviewers have stated already try not to pay for the breakfast as its a total waste of money. There are far better places to go local that are of a better standard and cheaper, that is the only negative criticism for the hotel. The location was perfect, we were across the road from the tram, 10 min walk from Nice Requier station where we went to Cannes, Monaco-Monte-Carlo and Ventimiglia. Only warning is that I and my wife went on UK boxing day for 3 nights and it's Xmas fair crazy at this time in Nice. Luckily owing to insight we booked the Executive room which was on the quiet side of the hotel, those staying in an Standard room must have suffered from the noise of a fair ground ride bang outside the window and hearing the punters scream. The cost difference from standard to executive truly was minimal and is definitely worthwhile.
“Novotel Nice Centre”
Hotel is in a good location close to a tram stop so easy to get around Nice and to SNCF station to travel to other cities, eg Cannes, Monte Carlo etc. Very pleasant staff and suitable for all ages.
“Affordable Luxurious (non beach)”
The hotel is very nice. It can be considered affordable luxurious room. Very comfortable and spacious room. Mini bar is available inside the room, which was for free. A coffee and tea making set in the room. The location is not on the sea coast, but very close to everything. It is a walking distance from the coast line of Nice. I was there during winter, so beach was not my goal. If beach is your goal, this hotel would not be your choice.
“Novotel nice centre”
Newly refitted, next to the tram and good breakfast. On the negative side car park is expensive at eur20 a night
“Nice Nice...!”
Novotel is always a "valeur sure" and we enjoyed our 2 nights stay in the Nice Novotel which is however not so central but located near the tram and only 20-30 min stroll to the Vieux Nice, the animated pedestrian streets and the pebbled beaches. The foyer with its children play area did keep the kids busy when required. We enjoyed a lovely dinner in the outside terrasse after a late afternoon swim following a lovely walk to the hill of the remaining of the "Fort".
