“Excellent holiday”
Excellent place to stay, good location for exploring Nice and surrounding areas. Very clean, good value, helpful friendly staff, quiet.
“a most comfortable hotel”
we as a family really enjoyed the stay and if we need to return to the area we would return to the hotel
“good hotel”
had a good stay good hotel, service was great. Had problems with the microwave other than that there is no problem we had.
“seaside park”
This hotel was very nice and very close to nice. The room was large and comfortable. It was very clean, although it seemed as though the wood floors could have been a little cleaner. The swimming pools were nice, especially the one on the rooftop deck. The staff was very accomadating and friendly. They also spoke English very well. The laundry facilities were really expensive (10 euros to wash and dry a small load). The dryer didn't work very well. I would recommend going to a laundomat. Also, bring your own water...the vending machine was really overpriced and threre's a fridge in the room.
“Good place to stay with a car”
Don't arrive at night as you will never find it! It is located down a dark lane behind locked gates! You need to get out in the dark and press the intercom for the night guard to let you in if he is there! Daytime staff are much better. All the cupboards are locked and they want an extra 15 euros a day to use! The rooms are clean and very comfortable. A car is essential.
“Need a car”
The hotel itself was exactly what we expected ... clean, nice flats, friendly staff, away from busy streets... However, the immediate area didn't really impress us as it was mostly a retail area (car dealer...)and we didn't expect a railway line between the beach and the hotel. This hotel is perfect if you need a base from where to explore the area (Nice, Atibes, Grasse, Cannes...)
“Would stay here again”
My girlfriend and i have just returned from a 10 day stay @ Seaside park hotel. The hotel is well situated between Cannes and Nice on the main road between the 2. It's just 10km from Nice centre and there is a regular bus for just 1 euro and the train station is within easy walking distance. (Try to avoid a taxi to Nice as this cost us over 50 euros!) Hotel staff were friendly and polite and spoke good English and were able to advise on trips etc (e.g Monte Carlo St. Tropez) and there is a big collection of maps, tourist leaflets brochures etc in reception The room was comfortable and includes a kitchenette and coffee machine which we found useful. However the room was only cleaned once in our stay and not very throughly! The hotel has a great rooftop pool with panoramic views The stay was good value
“Almost perfect...”
I stayed at Seaside Park with my boyfriend. Overall it was fantastic and I'm really glad we chose it. The room was just like the pictures, really modern and comfortable. The power shower was amazing! The roof top swimming pool is fantastic and the deck is huge so there was plenty of space for all the sun lovers. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The train station and beach are a 5-7 minutes walk away, and the train to either Nice or Cannes is cheap and only takes 20 minutes (the beach in Cannes is great!) It's about 15 minutes walk to the harbour with plenty of lovely restaurants. The only slight problem was that when we booked we paid extra and upgraded to "comfort plus" room because it comes with a kitchenette and the standard room does not. When we arrived all the kitchenette cupboards were locked so we couldn't use it. We were informed that in order to have use of the kitchenette we would have to pay extra, on top of the upgrade fee. We explained that this was not mentioned anywhere when we booked and they agreed to unlock the kitchenette for us. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely book there again.
“Not too bad”
The hotel was quite and well located to visit Nice and Cannes. The pool was nice and quite useful. They did charge extra for everything including use of Safe in the room, and took a hefty deposit for use of kitchen and safe. There is a nice supermarket just few minutes away so you can use the kitchen facilites in the room well.
“Nice hotel, bad location”
The hotel itself was nice. The staff were helpful and the room was a very nice size. The only real issues I had were the price of breakfast (10 euros with so little available), and the state of the area it was in. It was surrounded by what looked like a run-down industrial estate, and you have to walk/drive up a smelly dirt road (that's hard to locate in the first place if you're on foot). I'd stay there again, but only because of how convenient it made getting to and from the places I wanted to visit there.
