“Very friendly staff, central location, clean room”
Receptionists were extremely friendly and efficient. They didn't insist that I buy breakfast upon check-in. Ask for a quiet room! I was given one on the 6th floor (having read reviews saying that rooms overlooking the road were loud) and it was really quiet. The room was small but comfy, clean and fairly new. The hotel is literally across the road from the train station Lille Flandres, very convenient if you find yourself having to spend the night between trains there; and it felt safe (I was travelling alone). And it is less than 5 minutes walk to the very picturesque main square!
“Small but clean & convenient”
The rooms were small, but comfortable with good showers. The only downside was that there are only a small number of lockers to leave cases when you check out, and our friends had to go to the Eurolille station to leave their bags at left luggage. It would have been nice if the hotel had allowed them to leave their bags in an empty room/office etc.

“Noisiest hotel in France”
The hotel has small rooms, but is clean and tidy. It is a place to sleep not to dwell. But it is opposite the main railway station and people are walking past 24/7. + The bar below the hotel is open all night and on Friday & Saturday nights there were hen and stag parties in the street drinking until 8am, noise was horrendous + fights. The hotel has no parking and local parking is expensive 15 euros for 24 hours. It is also in the middle of a very complicated one way system and a sat nav is essential
